- This was the very last takeoff of this beautiful KLM Boeing 747-400. She came in to Chicago yesterday to clear customs (from what I heard). Today she took off for the very last time and after 3 hours and 18 minutes touched down at Mojave Air & Space Port. There most aircrafts are either kept for storage with some maintenance or have their parts removed for reuse or resale and are then scrapped.

The forever queen of the skies
😭
Amazing catch man, I saw PH-BFS landing on 10C in 2018 although I got there a little late to get a good video of it sadly...really sad to see KLM retired their 744's too early.
YES Agreed... The 747 Fleet Has been Retired Way Too Early... Long Live The Queen of the Skies
Nice & steady filmed, good job, thanks.
Sad to see this blue queen's final take off 💙💙💙 KLM 744
This is a sad time. The 747 is a great plane, and should be kept flying. Everyone is killing off all the greatest things our country built. Rest in peace 747 heavy flew on you several times.
Great video even though sad to see this KLM 747 take off for the last time. Surprised you don’t have more subs mate, your videos are really well filmed and edited. Keep up the good work!
Some May Come and Some Will Go Queen of the Skies... There's NONE OTHER Like You... Service Record.. Reliability.... Lest We Forget....
So sad, my fav aircraft leaving for grave yard 😕

collector catch , well done
I saw that yesterday when I went spotting there, with I knew it was it’s retirement flight
Wow what a 'launch' (of coarse 'empty' for her retirement flight to the Mojave 😢 ), thanks for sharing the pictures, it's one of our own KLM 744's ✈ and I worked on her...
Goodbye, Queen :(
Sad to See Her Retired
I got a picture of it the day before when it landed at o’hare from schipol
Also where did you planespot this at?
So sad 😢
Very sad. The PH-BFS was named "City of Seoul"
