The story about buying the house and telling his parents, "You're done. I'm paying for EVERYTHING." was so heartwarming. That must have felt great to be able to do that. Good people.

I agree with you completely! I watched The Unsung profile about Mr. Parker some years ago also. He talked about beautiful relationship his dear parents during that segment as well. It was indeed most touching and heartwarming. I already loved his music and his down-to-earth vibe from previous profiles. After I heard how lovingly he spoke about his parents and about how he took care of them (God rest them), I appreciated him all the more. It's beautiful when you hear about a musician that is not only profoundly talented in their craft but also at the top of the heap, more importantly, as a human being! Thank you for being you, Mr. Parker...long time fan here. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful segment on a great spirit with great business acumen as well. Blessings to Ray Parker Jr., you and all.

Dear Ray & Tim: I know you may just look at this like you're just 2 guys talking and telling stories, but, I don't think you have any idea what these videos mean to people. All I keep saying to myself is, "OMG! That's great ! OMG! That's funny ! OMG ! That's so cool !" Thank you and YES, more more more !!

I watched the three episodes and man, what a wonderful story, thank you Tim for this. I look after may old man who is old and sick, I've been doing this for a while and I expect to be doing so for the time my dad is here and I have to say that what a huge inspiration this gentleman is. looking at what he did for his parents and the big amount of love that is there every single moment he thinks of them, let's forget about music for a moment and think about life and moral values and here we have the way for the right path because no matter the money or wealth, Ray Parker Jr. is really an honest and decent human being. This interview really touched me to the bottom of my heart. Thanks again Tim. Big time.

Tim, thank you for this opportunity for us to hear Ray Parker Jr.'s story in his own words, and to Ray for his times with you. Life is amazing every day. Since the plan is to visit my granddaughter, daughter and son in law in Bend, Oregon next month, I'm also planning on a Breedlove Guitar tour. After purchasing three Breedlove guitars (one concert given to another SIL west of Seattle plus a Taylor A12e, with which he's thrilled), I immediately recognized the headstock Ray's playing at the end of Parts 1 & 2. Wow!

Tim, I have to say it’s the stories behind the music! True stories are my favorite and we finally get to hear from the minds & hearts who contributed to them. These songs are etched into us. I loved when you told the story of Runaway with Jon Bon Jovi. We have the music on record...but these stories aren’t. You have more stories to tell. We can learn chords & shapes anywhere, but your experience & stories are uniquely you!
