Before connecting your phone to your PC via USB cable you need to remove your SIM card from your phone!! That's why you didn't get a list of CSC codes in the drop down list in the SamFw FRP software tool.

In South Africa the S22 Ultra is STILL sitting on the 1 October security patch and it is already MID DECEMBER! Our phones haven't gotten the November or December security patch nor did it receive the Android 14 and One UI 6 update. People now resort to changing their phone's CSC in order to get these updates. It's a pity that Samsung doesn't care about their customer base in Africa.

Wifi calling wasn't working and we need it in the very rural area we live in (we have to drive a mile down the road for cell signal). I flashed to U1 but it still showed TMB/TMB/TMB and no wifi calling. Using your guide, I flashed to XAA, it still didn't give me wifi calling. It showed XAA/XAA/TMB. I flashed again, using VZW and It instantly gave me wifi calling.

There are some CSC not compatible with the updates. For example, EUX to INS. You can: 1. Switch back to the old CSC to update and switch to the new CSC again 2. Manually update via Odin (th-cam.com/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=b3TrE_ABa64KM20o) and start getting updates again 3. Update via Smart Switch for PC (th-cam.com/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2)

I've done this and changed from XFA (forgotten Africa region) to THL. Got all the latest updates that Samsung is not rolling out to the S22 series in Africa. But THL doesn't support Samsung Wallet. So I changed back to XFA. The January Security patch is supposed to be out already and of course XFA is still sitting on 1 October security patch. Depends on the CSC. If you notice that you aren't getting updates, you can go back to your old CSC or try another CSC that supports updates + call recording.

I have EUX/-/EUX/OPV and am not receiving any OTA updates and I have Orange carrier branding on my newly bought unlocked S23. Also I can't use Samsung Pay. Normally, yes. Unless you change it to INS (Indian) firmware, which has a different build number. You will have to update manually once via Odin (th-cam.com/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Atc4IggaT2cu7N3L) and you will be back to automatic updates.

Do an update via Odin (th-cam.com/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2) with the new CSC, and you should get updates back. You may do a clean install, if you'd like, by using CSC_ (data will be wiped, thus back up!).

I've done everything that was suggested to me to do with my tri-band router (ASUS RT-AXE7800) to the point that I'm beginning to suspect that it's the phone that is actually causing the problem. My CSC is at the moment is XME and it seems that the phone came with that CSC preset. Do you believe that changing the CSC would solve my problem and if so, what CSC would you recommend I set? Hi there! Hmmm, I have noticed that when I changed my CSC from EUX (Europe) to THL (Thailand), the options when setting up a hotspot changed from 2.4/5/6 GHz to 2.4/5 GHz. It may be something similar to your case as well. Try changing to EUX. If it doesn't work, you can change it back easily, as the process is quick and no data is erased. Let me know how it goes! As soon as I switched back to my phone's native CSC, which is XME, the updates started coming through again. There is another option. I have a big problem Still my CSC manufactured country code is not changed. But other parts are changed (changed from "INS/INS,INS/INS" to "SLK/SLK,SLK/INS" ). I want to change manufactured country to SLK too. 1. Does flashing full latest SLK firmware install will change manufactured country to SLK ? (Odin flash) 2. Unfortunately you cannot change the manufacturer CSC. You can flash using the CSC_ file instead of HOME_CSC_ (your data will be wiped) to get OTA updates.

I have EUX/-/EUX/OPV and am not receiving any OTA updates and I have Orange carrier branding on my newly bought unlocked S23. Also I can't use Samsung Pay. I suspect that the OPV is the part that is the actual problem. Can I change the OPV part of the CSC?
Is there a list of all device with whichh this will work, is there a difference regarding Soc, qualqom vs other?

I had downloaded the samfw 4.8.1 but it got flagged as virus multiple times. Did u face the same? and which version are u using?. Just concerned if this is gonna effect my s24U..

Normally, yes. Unless you change it to INS (Indian) firmware, which has a different build number. You will have to update manually once via Odin (th-cam.com/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Atc4IggaT2cu7N3L) and you will be back to automatic updates.

I changed parts in my s23 ultra CSC to ILO to record calls, unfortunately now I don't get OTA updates. Is there any solution? for updates to come back? I can't change the CSC to the one I had because FW itself doesn't see the phone, version 4.9 requires buying credits
Do an update via Odin (th-cam.com/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2) with the new CSC, and you should get updates back.
You may do a clean install, if you'd like, by using CSC_ (data will be wiped, thus back up!).

I'm trying to troubleshoot why my S23 Ultra cannot see a 6GHz network my router should be transmitting. I've done everything that was suggested to me to do with my tri-band router (ASUS RT-AXE7800) to the point that I'm beginning to suspect that it's the phone that is actually causing the problem.
My CSC is at the moment is XME and it seems that the phone came with that CSC preset. Do you believe that changing the CSC would solve my problem and if so, what CSC would you recommend I set?

Hmmm, I have noticed that when I changed my CSC from EUX (Europe) to THL (Thailand), the options when setting up a hotspot changed from 2.4/5/6 GHz to 2.4/5 GHz. It may be something similar to your case as well.
Try changing to EUX. If it doesn't work, you can change it back easily, as the process is quick and no data is erased.

@khanmusawir931 Hey man! You can try changing it, no question about that. However, when I changed mine from XME to EUX, the updates stopped coming through. As soon as I switched back to my phone's native CSC, which is XME, the updates started coming through again. There is another option. BredzPro has another video in which he's showing how to update a phone using the SmartSwitch app for desktop. Here's the link to that video.

I have a big problem Still my CSC manufactured country code is not changed. But other parts are changed (changed from "INS/INS,INS/INS" to "SLK/SLK,SLK/INS" ). I want to change manufactured country to SLK too.

Unfortunately you cannot change the manufacturer CSC.
You can flash using the CSC_ file instead of HOME_CSC_ (your data will be wiped) to get OTA updates.
