Thank you! My dishwasher wasn't switching cycles and thought it was a control board or latch issue I stumbled across this video and remembered that there was still powder from my pod in the bottom after forcing it through cycles and realized maybe it wasn't filling up with water (I could hear water but not as much) decided to give this a try because why not? And sure enough the dishwasher is working again, saved me from having to call maintenance!

Well, I tried this and it didn't seem to fix the problem. So disappointed, I tried taking the float off to see if anything was stuck in there and there was not. I then tried running dishwasher again with no luck. I then stuck a chopstick in the hole where the water comes into the dishwasher and nothing came out. I then played with turning the water off and on with no luck. I gave up and decided to take the bottom panel off to get familiar with what I'll be working with once the water intake valve arrives in the mail. I then put it all back together and tried running it again, this time waiting 10min before checking and low and behold it's working!!!!! Woohoo! So glad. Not sure what exactly fixed it but I'll take it! This is a new house for us and it was really starting to feel like we bought a lemon. This gives me hope! Gonna go cancel my part order now!

Tapping with spoon did not work but this video steered me in right direction. Turned off breaker, removed screw and plastic outer housing to find about 1/8 cup of gooey dishwashing soap inside. Once cleaned up, re-assembled and electricity turned back on, it worked. Took about 15 minutes which most of it was running back and forth to get tool and the breaker box. Thank you. I have to chime in here along with everyone else. I can't believe this was it! After tons of "googling" for a solution all I found was a possible water valve replacement. I came to YT to search for replacement instructions and came across this. Based on another comment I went ahead and cleaned out the flood float, which was pretty gunked up. Fired up the dishwasher and lo and behold, I have water again! Thank you for saving me a lot of time and trouble for nothing!

I have a new GE washer (GTW465ASNWW) , and it makes this exact noise during the agitation cycle. It is very loud and annoying. The washer is advertised as only having a very slight sloshing of water noise during agitation. I read somewhere that the brake pads may be making that noise, and it will go away after a "short time". Is that correct?

I just found my problem. thanks. turns out the switch that the flood float presses was mis-aligned with the hole that the float comes out of so i just had to bend the switch back into position and it worked.

Hello do you have any video to fix the flooded on the bottom? I opened every thing then clean it but it doesn’t work. The suction pipe is dry and I think because of the outer pumper .

Good start but sometimes its just not that simple. Ex bad control board, bad inlet valve, low water pressure, or bad pump.

Exact my model. I tap the flood float with wooden stick and push it down a few times but no water flow, dish washer very hot though.

We're sorry to hear this did not fix the issue. Please refer to the following article for additional troubleshooting: spklr.io/6055oRO7.
If the dishwasher still will not fill, service may be needed. Service information can be found toward the bottom of the article.

@@geappliances Thanks for quick response. I was able to open flood float, pushed the pin a few times, put it back. Still no water. I will check again
