    the seat throws the whole bikes look off but its a nice cruiser so a comfy seat is a must have

    That’s a big ass chainring for a 24”. I used to ride 44/16 on my Dyno Cruiser. Hard on the hills but boy it was fast on flat land!

    I’ve just bought a 24 frame and forks with a plan to add on some nice components. I’ve got graphite tuffs though for mine.

    Dia Comp Mx 1000s would be the proper brake setup for an 80s era bike. Black Tioga Comp III gumwall tires, an Elina seat with a lay back seat post, and single pinch Redline Flight 401s. The Hutch style pedals are killer looking but scarier than Jason from Friday The 13th.

    This is a sick build. I am going to use this as reference for my TA build I am just starting. Skyway advise I am on the fence between Skyway TA 24 and 26. I am 43 6'2" 175lbs. My gut says go 24 as the 26 just feels big. I have an 1982 TA I use to ride. Now it is display only. Thoughts?

    Didn't grease the chain ring bolts, DXR brakes are heavy. I race bmx bikes, I run answer brakes, get em free from co-sponsors.

    Hi on the TA is the BB a 19mm euro, please let me as I have the frame set and not sure about the BB, want to put in redline crank set.

      look like he has parktool assembly grease, but any grease will do (car stuff is cheaper)

      @@kipdrippers I've broken 3 over my years of riding but it just seems to me the more moving parts the more room for failure. I have never used a 3 piece so I don't have any experience with them.

      @@victimorthecrime 1 piece are heavy, only use cheap unsealed bottom brackets and bend/break very fast if you street ride hard.

      the trend these days seems to be louder the better. they sound obnoxious to me and you soon wish they would shut up on a long downhill. (if you pack more grease in them some brands will get quieter)

      I dont understand choosing a stem that drops the bars and then stacking it up on the steerer tube higher. just use a top load stem

    Blue tires just ruin the whole look of that otherwise super nice build....colored tires make it look like it belongs in a circus with a clown riding it...lol.. should be normal colored tires w/ blackwall

      gdub454 Blue tires were very common in the mid 80’s on chrome bikes with blue parts. Looks great in my opinion. Of course it’s subjective.
