Great video guys, I know it takes hours of video to get a few minutes. I think your improvements have come a long way. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video. Thank you for sharing
I love the video, the music is irritating though.. its like music meant for something to get me pumped up but its overlayed with slow easy going moments so like i donno... less pumped up music overlayed would make it better.. this is easy going, this is backroads this is back country. You dont need heart pounding sounds for this. You gained a subscriber none the less
i love watching you guys. glad to see someone using a Tundra too. i was traveling down I-40 in middle Tn. area on the 30th and seen the Tundra. love the exo skeleton. would love to ride with you guys sometime. i live in Woodbury tn near Murfreesboro if you ever go riding near or in Tn
Much respect for what you guys have accomplished here. I like the raw feel that you guys have, as opposed to the polished feel that XO seems to have become. While I am thrilled for XO's success, as you guys evolve, please don't become corporate (Toyota) reps. That being said, I'm wearing an XO hat as I type this... ...and Animas Forks in the snow, that is bold. My wife and I did it in September of this year -- stunning scenery around Ouray. I wish we could've stayed longer. Keep up the good work!
I felt the same way about XO. The first season was spot on. The second season was horrible with all of the needless plugs for Toyota and KDSS, etc. I understand they get all of their gear free now and have to advertise, but at points I felt like I was watching a long commercial. Good to see a raw video these days, I would of liked to see it a bit more organized. I felt like there were parts that just went nowhere, like the trip to the springs. Never said if you made it or not. Just no real organization. But overall good job! Makes me want to hit the trail.
Great video with awesome shots of the trucks, folks, and sites.. Only thing that kept reoccurring while watching this was i kept noticing how over the top and annoying the soundtrack was.. Other than that, great job..
I'm not sure if I'm watching a biography/documentary or a drama series. Too much focus on the bad vs the adventure. It's getting better as it goes along though.
Jonathan Odom it appears to be very "Drama" focused. I find it very entertaining, I am still waiting for the return of Kevan. It appears that the term "OVERLANDING" means drive off-road from burrito joint to burrito joint.
While I am ng on thei having grown up in the 50's and 60's I camped hunted and traveled the gamut with real men, strong men mostly veterans of the second world war Korea even active duty Nam personnel. They not always did said or demonstrated the best way to deal with life, nor make decisions that were wise, most spoke rough even crazy nasty... It all helped r agesme growing up knowing I had a choice whether to be a good guy or a bad guy. Even those drunkin around the campfire stories war Veterans spoke of, killing, or almost being killed. Close calls hunting big game, snake bites, both here and abroad. Another wards, Don't get overly crazy trying to isolate your kids from the seedier side of life. Depending on their ages, they already see hear know far more than I ever did when I was a kid. Mandated sex ed stuff. The bubble wrap can only remain inflated so long. The teen years~~~"The survival years" I'm out.
I wish there was a channel where a common man could learn how to overland. One that doesn't have $40,000 or $50,000 to drop on a rig. I would start it but I'm too damn broke to even do that
swimmer8585 I believe you may be mistaken. The land cruiser has less than 10k in it and was a craigslist treasure that was rebuilt from rotting in someone's yard. Don't let one rig set your concept. We are about as every day as they come.
BOLD OVERLAND Oh ok. But I mean one that everyone can do. Like I have no idea how to restore old cars and stuff like that. I'm just looking for an old tacoma to build up and a few of my friends are interested in some older toyotas. Maybe someday I'll start that channel though. I would like that
slickkapone Lol I don't even have some money. I've got enough to pay rent and food and that's about it right now. But I'm just a college kid that wants to be able to get away from the stress of it all and drive to these awesome locations
slickkapone Eh community college isn't the same. A little cheaper, but it has to be when parents won't pay for college. Someday I'll get the tacoma though
swimmers8585 You can do everything they are with a used vehicle that's just as capable. Nice 4WD 4th gen 4runners can be had for under 15,000 or even 10,000 depending on mileage and features.. You don't have to have the latest and greatest to enjoy doing all of this..
Appreciate what you guys are putting together and helping others explore the world via vehicle but is there a way to kindly give a warning for some of the language as it would be nice if the wife and I could sit down and not have to preview stuff before we watch it again with the kiddos. We sit down and watch some other expo type productions one of which we had to stop watching because the members felt they needed to start using curse words and it's just SO unprofessional. Regardless keep up the good work and stay safe.
94Greenbean we are very cautious of what goes into our videos including language. Tommy's 4 kids All watch these each Monday they release with anticipation. rest assured we keep our young adventurers in mind during edits.
BOLD OVERLAND 10-4, I know nothing of editing and the like. Absolutely not my expertise, lol... Just curious about the 2:30 mark. I'll still watch and support, as I've been to two Expos now but I had to cut the video off and I'll watch the entirety later on in a few days then sit down with the kids once I preview it. It's just difficult to remember when to distract them or mute when something comes out. I'm not trying to be a prude or anything. I hope I'm not coming across that way. You guys are making me want a 4Runner badly but I'm not parting with my 100 series, YET. I really love what your doing and want to be an encouragement.
94Greenbean Thanks again for watching and the honest feedback. We will try our best to keep the language and somewhat sensitive jokes at bay. We love 100 Series Cruisers as well and would love to add one to the inventory. If only funds were not a factor👍
RIG WALK AROUND VIDEOS PLEASE!!!! What lift and size on the white 4runner
Isaac Nunez It’s a 3” lift and at the time it had 275 70 R17’s. It now has 305 65 R17’s on it.
Very nice very nice guys
living the dream😎
Love the hat: Expedition Overland
Great video guys, I know it takes hours of video to get a few minutes. I think your improvements have come a long way. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video. Thank you for sharing
Vehicle walk arounds would be much appreciated.
Awesome Video
folks on the East coast that say there is no land to explore have never been out West
I love the video, the music is irritating though.. its like music meant for something to get me pumped up but its overlayed with slow easy going moments so like i donno... less pumped up music overlayed would make it better.. this is easy going, this is backroads this is back country. Jo Neel All good points, thanks for the feedback and subscribing! 👍
Can you guys share the coordinates of that campsite off HWY 550?
Justin Bedard here is the LAT/LONG for the camp. The entrance is just a little south of the pin. (37.7310170,-107.7502790)
Thanks so much! Also, is there going to be a new season coming up? Great stuff
Justin Bedard season 3 is currently in post production! Stay tuned for a fall release!
I'm lost, was the backdoor to hot springs also a bust?
Loren Worthington we actually tried 3 different routes all ended up being closed. It resulted in a frustrating drive down to Santa Fe.

cool videos I have a question for you guys. what lift did you use for the 4runner limited?
Chester Gavarrete it's the Toytec Boss Kit my friend, thanks for watching 🍺
is that with spacers? or did you guys remove the xreas sorry for the bother thanks for the info
Chester Gavarrete XREAS was deleted, 2.5 coilover up front with Bilstein 5100's in the rear with OME Expedition Coils in the rear.
that's awesome I'm getting feed back that its a bit complicated
Chester Gavarrete hit up Scott Parker, he can fill you in on the details regarding the limited🍺
love the film .? is there any part might be able to make in a 2wd. ready to get out but my 80 series is down with axel upgrades .need to get out
I love the statement "we all need r&r" lol overlanding is r&r your on a long vacation. ITS SUPOSE TO BE FUN

Always wanted to know what a "professional" camper....oops....overlander looked like.
Mojave Red Tough life we live, huh brother.

Ryan Parker, yes we do love burritos🍺
Where's Kevan at?
Ryan Parker, at this point of the trip Kevin was headed back to Knoxville with The Bowman Odyssey to get the Tacoma squared away.
BOLD OVERLAND can you do a segment on his movement back and bringing the Tacoma back into the Mechanic?
It would be good insight to follow Kevan.
Much needed R&R???!!! Isn't this the purpose of the trip? It's not like you guys are out in the bush saving the world or something.
Nigel Naughton thanks for the comment and certain members of the team have performed that role you mentioned several times overseas👍
BOLD OVERLAND That's awesome. Enjoy the moment. ;-)
soooo much talking......omg.....not nearly enough action. just saying. less of talking heads more of nature and trail action. .02 cents worth
