@@SeeYaDude take your boat to the marquesas we have some epic grouper spots that have yellowtails, mutton, and kings that sit up top in 50 feet of water. And on top of that you can see straight to the bottom it’s pretty epic
When I read that you "dropped a Gopro down to the bottom" I originally thought "oh no, he lost a camera!" Then I realized you meant you intentionally dropped it down! Silly for me to assume you lost it, but it does happen, for I know other TH-camrs that have actually dropped cameras off their boats. Fantastic Mangrove snapper spot!
Great video and thanks for your effort. Once located I seem to catch bigger mangos on either a dropper rig with hook 3-4’ off bottom or a light jig 1/16-1/8th punch drifted along with the chum. Try it and you won’t use knocker rigs again. Lol
I posted a short video on See Ya Dude’s Instagram talking about how I find spots on my bottom machine if you wanna check that out. Here’s a link to that vid: instagram.com/tv/CTNB2uonVu7/?
Next time, filet a grunt for gag grouper bait. If the grunt is big, use half, if small use whole bait. Make sure to leave the skin on. If the grunt is small enough for live bait, use it.

Great day fishing! One thing; your hook-set seems a bit… “enthusiastic” for circle hooks. I’ve always been told to simply reel down on them, and not use the rod to set the hook. Do you know something different?
I tied my line through the hole where the screw goes for a mount and dropped it down. Gonna play around with different ways to drop it down because it was shaking a lot
What happened to double hookin' in the belly with a long shank hook and greenbacks? You know you can do all that inside the Bay within sight of St Pete Pier...except see a turtle bigger than 100 lbs. That snapper has been eating all night...full moon lights up their lives😀!
So jealous....great day. Thx for sharing.
Nice Mangrove Snappers .
Dude , don't give up that Spot !
New favorite fishing Chanel keep up the good work
That was an awesome Day!
Perfect size mangroves.
Love the GoPro shots!
That was a nice gag at the end of under water video. Great video.
Thanks! I'm curious to drop a GoPro down at some of my regular spots to see what the bottom is really like and what lives down there
Love the consistency
Trying to stay on a Tuesday and Thursday schedule now 👍
@@SeeYaDude you should go to the dry tortugas sometime. That would be a sick trip
That’s definitely on the list of places I want to check out soon!

Loved seeing the Sheeps hanging out down there with the Mangroves. It would've been wild to pull one of those up in between bites.
Gotta bring some shrimp or fiddler crabs next time
Brilliant 🎣🏴
Thank you!
Fire video on my birthday too just turned 17 I wish I could fish with you some day with my brand new salt water reel keep up the good work
Happy birthday dude!
Happy Birthday Jay! Hope you get cha some FISH with ya NEW Equipment!!
Great video as always. That underwater GoPro footage was nice 👍
Thanks! Gonna work on making the footage more stable so I can drop a GoPro down at some of my other spots
@@SeeYaDude that would be sick. Cool to see the structure and the type of fish down there

Wow man, what a great day of fishing and 2 great videos. I've got to figure out how to find spots with my bottom machine better.

So I started my own channel a while ago and I was wondering if you would wanna do a vid o together sometime?
Sick
Nice work Brent 🤙 doubled up With 2 new videos this week👍 can't ask for nothing more👍🎣🎣
Getting back to a consistent Tuesday and Thursday video schedule 👍
Mangrove may be the tastiest fish in the sea
That's absolutely the Truth.... but don't tell anyone else.
Here for the turtle mentioned in the video
🐢
awesome
I bet those sheephead will take a shrimp if they are quick enough to get it.
Great video! Love the boat too.. What is it?
4:54 don’t be scared it’s just a fish
You give fishing tour’s?
You probably saw the runts under attack by sharks and everything else was cleaning up...I have seen that.

Is this in Fort Lauderdale we will be there in three days? Are you a fishing charter?

What area do you normally fish
About 1:23 into the video - what is swimming beside the boat? Anyone else see those?
I think there was some floating grass on the surface, but there was also quite a few jellyfish around
Dang next time fill a bucket with cut bait and chum em up!
I’m definitely gonna try that and see if we can get them up to the surface. Topwater snapper would be sick haha
Great action 👍. How deep can we use the knocker rig ?
As deep as you would like, just need a heavier egg weight when fishing in deeper water with more current
Nice Mangos 🥭 How many FT is your boat?
Thanks! My boat is 22' 10"
Where you out of
How deep are we talking to fish something like this? New at deep sea fishing
How are you rigging your GoPro to drop it down?
I tied my line through the hole where the screw goes for a mount and dropped it down. Gonna play around with different ways to drop it down because it was shaking a lot
@@SeeYaDude can you make a vid on it?
I have caught 8 pound muttons on 15 pound pink ande. They have big eyes and are very shy.
How far off shore is this?
9 miles
Weren’t seeing too many dead fish? Went about a week ago and they were thick to almost 15 out
Didn’t see any dead fish out there that day
@@SeeYaDude that’s awesome. Hopefully I can get back out there next week once the wind dies down a little lol
