This song still hits me in the feels. When I was in high school many years ago, I had this friend with whom I was very close and affectionate with when we were alone. When ever we were with our other friends however, she would pretend like I barely existed and was very stand-offish. When I told a mutual friend what was going on, word got back to her and she cut all ties with me. Even called me a liar. Don't think I've ever been so hurt in my entire life. She even started telling other friends that I was talking about them behind their backs in an attempt to start fights and separate me from the group. This song will always remind me of her, those times we had together and the craziness that ensued.
This without a doubt is the best version of the song, I was just 3 years old when this was made. Proud to have a good taste on music even though exposed to all the music my generation brings, which sometimes is quite shitty.
