    6 speed manual would be my cup of tea like my Forester Sti.

    something told me when i was young, that when i started a family, i'd never buy a van or a wagon. if i did, i'd kill myself. however, this wagon intrigues me

    "Track weapon". No mention of whether or not traction control is defeatable. But hey, how was the shrimp cocktail?

      Colin Kao yes you can turn off ESC. When you turn it off and put transmission in sport mode, the AWD system becomes more rear bias. This car is a blast to drive and a real head turner!!!

    How about a sport mode button instead of the 2 to 3 step process you have to do to enable sport mode.

    At 60k, adjustable dampers should be electronic.

    Maybe the ride was so hard because the suspension was set up for track use as in the video. No other review has mentioned a hard ride otherwise. In fact the opposite

    Why do I get the feeling that engine is a derivative of my 2014 Focus St 2.0 gdti...its closed deck so the block is beefy enough for a twin charged application..hmm....

    Didn't Volvo just split with polestar? So no... Won't become household names

      We shot this a while ago and that news just broke yesterday, but I had the same reaction this morning. However, Polestar is not going away, they are simply splitting off on their own to produce performance electric vehicles, and if they're this good, they will still become as much of a household name as Tesla.

      AutoGuide.com gotcha, makes sense.. I like the v60 polestar a lot. I think I still prefer the t6. I worked for Volvo a year ago.. Love the new designs.. But reliability was an issue.. Every other xc90 was in for service

      Shahul Usman any common theme with SPA cars? I bet most of the complaints were the janky Sensus system.

    • @shahulhusman
      @shahulhusman 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      afrosheenix couple with the air suspension, a transmission replaced, the forward radar blocked.. Most were fine and great cars. Definitely had a few xc90s early on with issues.. But I'm sure they are fine now and about as safe a vehicle as you can buy. I do work for Mercedes-Benz now though for a second time and 6 years in all.

      No, they are part of Volvo, yes a separate brand now, just as Audi are separate from VW, but Volvo are still the owners, and this is reflected in the first Polestar1 design, take a look on here th-cam.com/video/SR5WrfAb39U/w-d-xo.html

      Only a fool would pay 62k for it. The dealers discounts are so deep you can get in one 49K. Mine sat on dealers lot for almost a year and I picked it up for 48K. Mine is a 2016 so I dont know how deep 2017 discount are though

      Very nice! I'm looking also but am hesitant concerning the 4 banger vs the tried and true inline 6 with that sexy sound.

      You seems to be an old frustrated fucker...
      The S90 or The V90 are from The same new plattform and The new design, which not The old s60 and v60 are from.
      And that tells you following?

    Keep telling yourself that your compact wagon is a track car. Just don't break it before your 72 months paying for it are up.

    • @v60polestar88
      @v60polestar88 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the average monthly car payment on a new vehicle in 2017 is a hefty $479, and as of 2016, the average car loan was a whopping $30,032 with an average length of 68 months - that's over five and a half years!May 4, 2017.

    I feel like polestar is the poor man's performance company. They don't get any recognition because nobody buys them. It's like trying to sell 40 yr old moms Harley's. not too many would buy em

      max audi because they sight is weird. Building a sport cars on a soccer mom wagon. Also, reliable is a huge issue. They break down a lot. And parts are not easily available.
