    The suspension is manually adjustable via knobs on each of the individual shocks. Not as convenient as electronic systems, but offers much higher range of chassis configurations

    Best thing is the rareness. Only 1500 S60/V60 Polestars made. The US got 246 of those.

    V60 polestar is also a great sleeper and I like that. Majority of people on the road don't even how special the car is, especially when I have it in the onyx black, and then they are greatly surprised :D It offers a great compromise, that my gf can drive it absolutely normally and comfortably and I still can have a great fun on the countryside roads and track.
    When it comes to storage spaces I don't see any problems at all. Seat pocket is great for phone, door bin are enough for small handbags, behind centre console some flat things like tissues and cupholders can provide enough spaces for whatever you need when you dont have a bottle there which fits enough

    What's funny is despite its being so exclusive I have an easier time finding a V60 Polestar for sale (new or used) than a V60 R design, within 200 miles of here.
    The V60 dates back to 2010, for its age it's system is not bad. I find it easier to use than our 2013 BMW X5 with the "superior" controller and infotainment.

      I totally agree, we also have a 2012 Audi A4 - and the controls for Sensus on the V60 are much easier and more logic :)

      Bruno TaTa It because the Polestar doesn't sell very well so the dealers authorized to sell the 2-3 they have on there lots have a hard time getting rid of them. R designs sell better so they don't sit on dealer lots. You can always order a R design but you can't order a Polestar.

      Indeed you're right but Polestar is a niche in Volvo's line which most people probably don't go for unless one is an enthusiast.

    Dude i know you have mentioned this is all lighthearted, but you need to learn about the car before you start talking about shit you don't understand. There's so much wrong with this video, especially talking about the suspension. And, you don't even just say 'no adjustable suspension', you go into detail trying to explain it. But you are wrong mate, this does have adjustable suspension. This video upsets me greatly.

    Those cup holders are perfect if you choose to drink drinks that is the size for males and not females.

      When europeans drive, theres no need for cupholders.

    can't you manually change the setting for the suspension? The golden knob, I don't know what they're called, but I thought you can change it for the v60 polestar's Ohlins suspension

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I've read you can manually adjust each damper individually with proper tools.

    • @seg-z5j
      @seg-z5j 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kris Rifa yea, wouldn't that make the suspension more smoother when you max it to the smoothest setting

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Might make it smoother, but it's exactly a very practical way of adjusting the ride.

    • @v60polestar88

      The Ohlins are 20 way adjustable. The car comes from the factory set at 10 front/10 rear. Its perfect that way in my opinion but you can go softer if you would like. 20 is the softest setting. The fronts are very easy to adjust and you really don't need a tool. The rears require you to remove the cargo area panels, but its not to difficult.

    The cup holder fits a regular can (coca cola) you have a mini (Red Bull) can which is slimmer and not as common, I own one and have never found the cup holders to be a problem! Great review however the original 6 cylinders are wayyyyyyy better ;-)

    Worst thing is that they call this a sports car with only four cylinders :(. I prefer the 5 or 6 cylinder for ultimate eargasms.

    pass through center console in my 2008 volvo s80 v8 i store my sunglasses. when i am wearing sunglasses keep my phone there while driving. s80 has nice pockets on front of both front seats i store my phone there too sometimes with my wallet.

    When I see videos and reviews of the V60 Polestar, people aren’t that excited when they drive it, like it’s slow or not doing the best it can. But it is nice looking.

    Wish mine had that engine with electric hit from the P1.
    Imagine that engine with 100km electric range and a full 700bhp on tap. The perfect wagon.

    I bought a 2017 V60 after driving 2 RS3's from 2016. Just the spec was more balanced and a better car for price and rareness.

    the Xc90 behind you at the end of the video, is that your car?

    Wait doesn't this car have the waterfall with the space behind it? My 2014 Volvo KPAX S60 T5 had that still...EDIT- It still does, just put your phone there dude. Also the side door sills do fit 1 liter bottles of water so I'm not sure what size you're looking for; you'd be correct in saying a 1 gallon bottle would not fit. Many a time I've had a red bull in my Volvo and not had a problem.
    I'm seriously looking into buying a 2017 V60 Polestar as I miss my Volvo, I just wonder about the 4 banger since I was so in love with the inline 6...now that sound was sick!

      Well, I have 2017 V60 Polestar and I can sit pretty low, even lower than in my brother's 2015 V60 for some reason and I'm 6feet2.

    Dude you're expecting a very comfy ride from a high performance car ❓🤔 This Polestar editions have different specifications then the normal V60's. It's like comparing apples with bananas. In the beginning of the video you said not to take this very seriously , I rest my case....
