@stephkm3655 the bezels are not uneven, and it's better than having a mid front camera like on Samsung phones even the ultra, they sacrificed just putting a bigger sensor there for better performance and rather made it smaller to be aesthetic I'd rather have a big front facing camera or even a dynamic island that works well rather than having something less just cause it looks nice
Actually amazed how well the S24 stacked up given it's nearly a year old. If a few months old device can't beat a nearly 1 year old device, that would be a shocker. Still loving my S24 - and was almost going to go for a Pixel until Samsung enticed me with superb deals including free Watch 6 and 3 year accidental damage insurance. Battery life is still epic, no deterioration over the year.
For me the pixel is the better phone..I actually sold my s24+ bcuz the standby time was not good and overall battery life wasn't great and getting the base pixel 9 was the best move.. Better standby time, and better battery, and timely updates.. Got tired of Samsung constantly delaying ONE UI7 and STILL hasn't been released

the real magic of that phone (pixel 9) is in the years of updates and that you can get graphene os after many years and still use it with security updates.
All of my samsung s series have had major I issues with finding 4 and 5g. When I'm out and about the S20, S21 and S22 have all lost network making the egg timer or video freeze extremely annoying. It hasn't just been where I live it's been on holidays ect. Debating going for the Google phone for a change big decision for the next 24mths
I just switched from Galaxy 22 to Pixel 9 Pro I wasn't so sure to do it, but now I'm glad I did it. Even though Samsung Galaxy is great, the experience with Pixel 9 Pro is nicer, smoother and smarter. Very satisfying.
You can get the pixel 9 pro and still get the compat feel that you get from the pixel 9 but with higher specs. So glad I have a compat phone with flagship specs.
What about the selfie front camera 🤳? I find it strange that the most used camera for most people these days is rarely compared. Which phone has the superior front camera?
Where do you get those prices. On Virgin the Galaxy is 1,360cad and pixel is 1,290cad. I did the US to CAD conversion and these prices still seem high.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Pixel they all have hardware and software issues. I returned mine cause it definitely wasn't what reviewers claimed, bad experience.

Samsung's only real weakness is their cameras. Pixels weakness is their soc. Pixels also tend to limit feature drops on older models due to the limitations of the Tensor generations 6,7,8,9. Even within generations. Also due to pricing Pixels are not a better value proposition IMHO. Maybe Pixel 10 will justify the premium pricing for a < Samsung (or Apple) phone. Not a Sammy fanboy but Pixel is just not there yet.
I have been pixel for years but I feel conned with the 9 pro XL. I've had it a few days and it is not functioning well and is slow. My pixel 6 was much better. Wish I hadn't changed.
