Thank you Clint. For recording the entire National Anthem. That speaks a lot about your charactor.
As a foreigner (I'm British) that's what I love about Americans - they're damn proud and not afraid to show it. Whether it's the anthem, the flag or their service personnel (military, law enforcement, fire fighters etc) Americans sure do show respect when called upon.
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave
Good day America
I agree! Clinton and his crew and family are all great people.
I THINK THAY SELL BIG SLEG HAMMER. THAT SHOULD BE STRAT UP YOUR STREET BOSS MAN . 😊😊😊😊😊
ITS LIKE ENEYTHING. SOMETHING IS ONLEY WORTH WHAT SOMEONE WANTS TO PAY FOR IT .
BOSS MAN THAT FIXER UPPER IS THE ONE FOR YOU BROTHER. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
From New Zealand Good to see there are still some Americans proud of their flag and National Anthem.
More than 50% of us.
It’s just sad the world thinks most Americans hate their country and have no pride! There is still a ton of us patriots left who love America and will protect it at all costs🫡🇺🇸
Not a noise, no one kneeling and could hear a pin drop during National Anthem. Thank you Clint for taking us along. You guys rock.
Hey guys thank you for taking us with you! That was fun.😁
Excellent video
Thank you very much Clint for letting that national anthem play all the way through. That was totally awesome and just like another man said it truly says a lot about your character. Thank you very much
Just another C&C episode - just so enjoyed seeing vehicles I grew up with. Thanks for taking us along.
Someone really took some time with that baby. I grew up helping my father repair/rebuild cars/trucks back in teh 70's... those older vehicles rusted out badly but that one only a bit.. love it.
Bridget, is going to love her Mother’s Day willys wagon, nice , good thinging, thanks BigAl California.
These auctions are better than visiting a car museum and if I was in the States I would be down at Clint's place to buy that awesome truck. Great video, thanks guys.
In the 70's I owned a M51 Willys pickup. I believe is was a military model. It's original engine had been replaced with a 261 Chev straight six. It had lots of torque and climbing power. It was also geared the same as your Willys wagon. My dad and I used it when we hunted different mountainous places in Washington. There wasn't a place it couldn't go. I got tired of the armstrong power steering so I fabricated brackets and a steering arm to install an Oldsmobile tilt steering wheel and a Buick steering box and pump. I also converted it to a 12 volt system. At the end of our time together, the head cracked and the engine barely ran. I sold it to a former neighbor for $500. He repaired the engine problem, then moved to Arizona where be ran it all over the dunes there. He sold it for about 5 times the price he bought it.
In the video you mentioned that some of the places rust out on the Willys wagons. But the body metal on my pickup was way heavier gauge than standard auto sheet metal. I had no rusting problems. Did the military vehicles have different standards for body construction?
I really enjoyed this video. It took me back in time. Also, I was able to relate to your trip home with your wagon and being passed by everyone.
I still want to know what Mrs. C said about it. It's a beauty in my book!
I love all the old Fords, but that red Power Wagon is the one for me.
Yeah the reason the lnternational crew cab pickup truck is so rare, is because on a quiet night you could hear 'em rust.
LoL so true.
I was thinking the same thing, it must have come from California to be in that good of shape.
I had that exact red Blazer shown at 1:35. It was a 1982 with a stick shift. I built a 350 and swapped the trans for an M23. I built the 350 straight out of the Chevy Power Book to the 400 HP spec. I miss that truck but I don't miss the 9 miles per gallon. I sold it when I moved 30 miles outside of Chicago where I worked. Even in the early 90s' the cost to feed it was a little out of hand but it sure was fun when you pushed down on the go pedal.
Back in about 1952, we helped some same family friends move from Southeast IL to New Albany, IN. They had one of those jeeps as their family vehicle. They had all of their family belongings loaded in the Jeep. The husband drove the Jeep and his wife and 2 kids rode on our Studebaker that my mother drove. Going up those Indiana hills east of the Ohio River, their mother and we kids had to get out and help the Jeep up those hills by pushing it. The Jeep 4 cylinder just did not have the power to make it loaded like it was.
When I was very young my dad used to pull a Lincoln welder behind a Jeep station wagon in and out of construction sites and strip mines, it was red too. Brings back memories!
Jay has great taste in 3 wheelers
Love the fact another Ford lover exists!
Beautiful trucks. I love the crew cab myself.
Dozens of us!
Mr. Clint your videos never fail to entertain. Keep up the good work.
Nothing beats an auction buy and drive it back
45 MPH - just my speed! Congrats on your purchase. 😉
Looks like a frame off resto, acid dipped, and soda blasted.
Thing looks awesome!
What a great buy, whoever takes it on is going to get a real gem. 👍
Very nice video. Its always nice to watch your videos bc you all or always changing it up with different things and it's great that you involve your boys in the things you do...Keep up the great videos bc I really like watching them since I'm not able to get out and do much after my accident 6 years ago where I fell and broke my back ....Again thank you for the great videos....
Wow, Very nice truck Clinton, Congrats!
Enjoyed the video Clint that was fun
That was a great auction find she’s a beaut !!
Good to see so many of these vehicles are preserved.
Really enjoyed this.Brought back memories looking at those cars from my younger years. My first car was a 67 Chevelle that I bought in 1973 at sixteen years old for $695.She wasn't an SS but still a great car.I still have a soft spot for that year and model.
👍 1960 El Camino and the Dodge Power Wagon... Primo Stuff!
Nice old wagon thanks for sharing
Clint you have to bye one for Kevin. He is one of your best employees .
beautiful buy, Clint! Hearty Congratulations on the buy!!!!
Love the Willy’s!!!! Clean as can be. 45 is where you want to be.
Classic heaven - some nice oldies there. Now that purchase is an absolute beauty - what fun to drive. Nice restoration - good purchase - hope it sells onwards. I think Dad bought our first car about 1950 - it beat the horse and cart going into town 16 miles
I find it warming to know that people still find honour with their National anthem in this world. I know some Aussies stand proud with ours but it feels they are few and far between.
The ol Willys jeep was a brilliant resto. Something to be proud of… but needs to be driven. Love to have the chance to buy it from here.
You can definitely tell when Kevin is holding the camera. All the Chevy’s
You're right, that is the greatest car show on earth. Thanks for taking us along for the auction. Enjoyed every minute of it.
It is not the destination, it is the journey!
I completely agree with you I hate hate those no sidewall tires they ruin a beautiful vehicle
I guess it's whatever you're into at the end of the day but I'm with you fellas - I just don't get it. Personally, I enjoy when something functional on a truck ends up looking good accidentally, kinda like how an old Power Wagon or F250 Highboy had a "look" but were most definitely designed first to work hard, to be a tool.
Who ever had or restored that loved and definitely looked after it
Awsome, there's a green one like that that floats around Wellington N.Z.,I'll appreciate it a ton more when i see it again.
Thankyou
Great buy for someone to compete and enjoy 👍🏻🇺🇲
Nicely done guys, good old days for sure!!🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks
That was a nice auction. That's a nice little Willie's. Get all right on that. Really good shape somebody's going to be happy with that for sure. Good stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
When Kevin got the tat he reminded me of the guy in the Dodge commercials that always yelled "that thing got a Hemi?"
Awesome program, enjoyed Clint! Nice buy, I would be like a kid in a candy store at that auction!
Thanks 😊 for a great time!!!
Hey Clinton, Great video! Even enjoyed your drive home! Lots of old memories in the auction! Thumbs up! Jim
I'm shocked you didn't already update it as sold. 😂 What a sweet truck! The red trans am was like my 74 formula 350 from high school. And that quad cab IH, a friend bought a ex-military one and paid me to drive it across town. It checked the boxes: loud, rattly, always moving the steering wheel to go straight - meaning a fun trip
Impressive, such amazing work on most of these cars snd trucks but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be terrified to take these out of their glass cases to drive em! For me, there is 100% such a thing as "too nice", haha! Thanks for having us along, brother.
Very enjoyable and relaxing video thanks boys 👍
I love your purchase. My Dad had a 1960 Wills Jeep wagon with a 327 Chevy with a 4bbl. It was so much freaking fun to drive.
Very nice indeed .
thanks for the ride along,to bad Kevin didn't buy one of those elcamino's, great video 👍👍👍
Just think about the memories you've made. Time goes by so fast before you know it, you will have grandchildren. Can't wait for your next adventure.
Great fun video auctions are always enjoyable thanks Clint and Kevin and Hunter
Love the auction vids, thanks for taking us along.
That 5 speed 460 ford was a steal. In my area anyway, I haven’t been able to find one with less than 200,000 miles for less than $15,000.
WOW!!! I think i saw a toyota land cruiser pick up 🤨 i guess the first one in the USA.
Greetings from🇹🇿👍
Loved the Willys Jeep (a keeper, perfect vehicle for Mrs. C.), Power Wagon, and the International truck...My family drove Studebakers. My uncle had two Golden Hawks, and my first cousin drives a 1949 bullet nose. Enjoyed the video.
The wife may be mad but honestly this is what being a dad is all about when you have a son. This is a story worth buying
Very nice vehicle Clint, and if I weren't on the other side of the pond, I would have seriously considered paying the asking price.
Great buy Clint! I love it. I was saying... I'll drive it home for you. Thanks for auction video.
some great lookin iron an very nice buy clint shes a beaut !
Thank you for bringing us along for the day. I like your purchase and hopefully you find a good home for it.
Nice Willys Clint. Drives like my Power Wagon Slow and Steady
TGP
I love that Willys wagon. That may be your best purchase yet.
Hi clint the grandpa dentside an the black silver 86 are my picks . Thanks alot cheers mate🇦🇺
Nice buy Mr. C. Love that thing. Great video. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. You three seems to have a lot of fun out together. Thanks for sharing and you guys have a great weekend!!
Edit: someone has probably spent a lot of cash on that restoration. It really looks clean top and bottom.
You need to install an overdrive unit. I put one in an old Land Rover 30 years ago. worked great.
My Friday go too!! ya! Alright!! lov ya guys! Here we go!! Cheers!;-)!!Hunter Rocks;-)!
Congrats on the Willys Jeep. That's a very nice restoration. Bonnie and Clyde used to rave about the Ford flat head V8 but 45 mph is plenty fast for the Jeep.
I lived 40 miles north of there for almost 70 years. You found the closest gasoline station.
Since you're buying, Clint I'll take that Dodge Power Wagon don't like the color though....so Kevin needs to do his magic 😊
Certainly were some interesting custom cars - had to laugh when I saw that Munstermobile replica!
I saw you run that stop sign Clint! 🚨PULL OVER🚨🤣
My favorite was the Power Wagon. Grew up next to the Forestry Dept. back in the 60's and early 70's. They had a bunch of different WWII Power Wagons they used for fire fighting. Would love to have one. My second favorite was the Jeep Pickup, although love the jeep wagon. Thanks for sharing.
That Power Wagon was one of my favorite ones also.
Great video Clint. Lot of fun
She's a beaut Clark!
Great video, thanks for showing us behind the scenes
Great purchase! If Momma kicks you and Tucker out, just sleep in the Willys.
Thanks
I can’t imagine driving the old t-bucket pickup with the 396. My father in law had a t bucket car with a 318 in it. Way too much power for something that light.
My wall had a 930 Turbo. Porsche Kills Bugs Fast
I like and can relate to Kevins shirt! LOL
Nice snag!
The show was much better with Kevin behind the camera. Actually looking at some decent cars. Lmbo 😆😂😆
That's right bub🤣🤣🤣-Kevin
@@C_CEQUIPMENT lol 😁😜 Chevy all day over Ferd Fix Or Repair Daily, Found On Road Dead! 😁😜😜
10000 for a 3 wheeler that originally sold for around 1800
Great video Clint. Alot of nice rides there .
I keep telling my brothers& nephew we need to make the Mecum Farm auction Mecum has also
Mack
She's a beauty!! Score! lov it! Cheers!;-)!
Cowboy Car Crusher should take care of those lifted trucks with rubber band tires
Clint you need that grocery getter the blue with the wood grain .
Good job guys
I think it is really cool!!!
Thanks for the tour
Awesome Willy's, but International double cab!!! I can dream.
Clint man, I'm right there with you about changing out those wheels to fifteens maybe as high as sixteen inch and throw on a good set of 42" to 44" in swampers and have a right fun ROW runner. Otherwise, rubber bands just says pavement princess all day and twice on Sunday.
Though that Land cruiser pick-up, the 79 series by the look of it. That's a gem stateside at least. A fairly rare beast here but common enough in Aussie land, Mid east, Africa, Kiwi country, and a few other places.
Whew that Power Wagon, would gladly get a sore back to drive that every day. Fuel bill probably wouldn't have it be a daily driver but very certainly a weekend warrior.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Bad Ass Truck! My dad had 47 pick up.
What a nice machine!
