Thanks for tuning in guys! I hope you all had a great holiday season. As always, watch for scammers in the comments and all merch seen in this video is on my website in the description 👊🏽
Growing up, my parents had a house in Bombay, and we stayed out there every summer... right behind the church... we still go out to The Fountain Of Youth 3 times a year and go dirtbike riding... 30 years I've watched the Salton Sea change so much... Check out the 7 wonders of Salton Sea and the San Andreas fault near North Shore... Tons of deer, coyotes and mountain lions so be careful... we had to shoot at a mountain lion stalking us one time...
I've been subscribed for a few years now and I'd like to say that ya'll are really quality folks. Senior definitely raised his boys well. \ya'll show so much respect for people, nature and the great outdoors.....the world needs more of you guys!!!!!!
Was just about to say the same thing very nice to see some young men that are respectful and courteous and produce valuable content totally opposite of what you see from the youth these days.
We were given the full tour of Salvation Mountain by Leonard, once, years ago. I would describe him as a man full of love, sprit, and devotion to his message. Truly, one of a kind. 💜💜💜
I’m impressed by this father taking his son and friends on adventures. Most dads are too busy, like myself. Young men are unusually responsive to this type of adult male attention and keeps kids off the street. Well done.
I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again. God bless you Sr. Adrian, Junior, Juju, Roman, and the rest of your family. You bring all of these places that I would never get to go right into my living room. Thank you so much for all you do. Keep the great videos coming guys.!!
I have been a subscriber for a couple of years. I have always been impressed by what quality people you and your whole family are. Your videos are always interesting and I look forward to each one. I grew up in Southern Calif. in a town next to Riverside. I am 78 years old and remember the Salton Sea when it was a different place. We would go water skiing in the late 50's and 60's. Your interview with Dottie was a trip. You guys always provide entertaining videos. Keep up the good work.
DOT is on Spot!! love her Personality and this Video... I follow the world and life behind Slab City and this Video ranks on TOP on great insight and journalism of the REAL Slab City!! Thanks Gain and many Thumbs UP Men... !!
I live aboard a sailboat, no where near Slab City, I wouldnt trade the freestyle life for anything. I know my boat neighbors and can trust them to keep an eye out, we bbq and have community, its wonderful, much as I imagine life out there to be. Golden Rule is a way of life for those that make it. ...Main thing I wanted to comment on is good dad...Ive seen a handful of videos over the years from you guys, always the dad is doing it right. Appreciate that which many sons cant even hope for in this world any longer, God knows Id love to give mine another hug for a job well done.
Thank you guys 🙏. I really like How you bring the young kids with you to learn about so many different things. I’ve seen many videos on this place but you made it personal. Welcome to California and have a safe and fun trip. Blessings from Paso Robles, California, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊
I haven't been to Slab City since I was 8 years old in 1978. My uncle took me and my cousin with him to see a friend of his. We were camping in the Borego desert at the time. It was a mostly a bunch of hippies and a few scary looking people. I remember a place that had an old chest style Coke machine that was an honor based deal where you drop a nickel in a tin box and get out a bottle of Coke. We played with some kids that were there and had a blast. There are also a few horror stories, but a lot of those incidents stem from drug use. One of those things where you get what your looking for.
That adobe construction is how all of the California missions were built. Years ago, A friend of my father's helped with the restoration of the San Juan Bautista mission, and he showed my dad and I how to make the adobe bricks. Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
I love it when you do these types of videos! It is very interesting to see how people live out there in the desert. I was at the Salton Sea about 20 years ago. I can't wait for the follow-up video. You guys are the best. I always look forward to seeing where you go next. I'm 70 years old and live alone. You guys feel like family!
wow Dotty is awesome - this is exactly what these type of vids are great for - we would have never met her if it wasnt for the boys - Thank you for taking us on this journey! Stay safe out there!
Definitely an interesting place. Salvation mountain is iconic and should be preserved as best possible. Nice people, but as always a few shady one's to watch out for just like anywhere else. It's location and climate is what shows how humans can survive almost anywhere. Good show gentlemen, good show.
That was so interesting. Most people don't know that places like that exist, like myself. Thanks for the tour. The lady was very expressively artful. So talented. I sure did like to see the Fonz. I hope the new year brings happiness and serenity to all.
I camped on the other side of the road from Salvation mountain for a week about 15 years ago. Was given a tour of the mountain by Leonard a few years before he passed away. Lots of flashbacks from this video. Its sad to see the mountain starting to fall apart. Leonard continually was adding mud and paint to that mountain for 30 years, looks like as soon as he stopped, nature started to take it back. I was lucky enough to be able to walk the whole mountain though, looks like most of it is closed as it should be to try and preserve it.
Thanks for the tour Dotty was cool. I've driven thru Slab C. 3 years ago. Your tour was better. My brother and I caught something there and were sick as dogs the day after. 😮
I was there last week, The hand wash station by the port-a-shitter at Salvation Mountain has soap but no water. I was annoyed so I didn't ask for a tour. Thanks for filling me in!
i've seen several reports about Slab City but the difference between those and this is the realness of yalls videos. it's almost like we're part of the family there with yall. love yalls work gentlemen. keep 'um coming.
I had never heard of slab city. It's a shame that people had to do that in this country to survive , thank you very very very very very much for showing that I think you guys are great for doing that kind of thing giving people an opportunity to see parts of the the US that people never get the chance to see. I look forward to seeing more of your journey through California. God bless
Im a Brit. I lived in Yuma, AZ... Worked in Yuma and Brawley, CA. Always knew about Slab City but never been.. Ive been past Salvation Mountain and Salton Sea a fair few times. That smell around Salton Sea is unforgettable.
ive watched a few documentaries of slab city over the years, and there are some circumstances i wouldnt want any part of, dottie was in one i watched, i enjoyed her interviews, she seems down to earth and pretty cool, i knda get some of those people, but i dont think id want to ;ive in that climate, i lived in the desert of southern NM growing up, it could be treacherous sometimes. thanks for another point of view from slab city.
I have spent almost the last 20 years working in Imperial Valley on the Geo Thermal drilling. That Slab City used to be a cool place to visit but has turned into a haven for criminals and people to delve into their addiction. Thank you for your piece on this place. I do really enjoy your videos on Lake Mead and all other adventures. Can’t wait to see the Salton Sea episode. Come on over to Lake Elsinore (my home) pretty interesting place. A question, do you do fishing trips in Lake Mead? My daughter lives there in Vegas and visit a lot, would love to fish Lake Mead….
Yea, you guys be careful out there… Y’all did it right… Anarchists are always super nice… They aren’t to concerned about someone “taking” something, if someone needs it… As long as you’re not wasting something… Be respectful, but don’t burden them… …but… that isn’t a really good “tourist destination”… That’s people’s home…
i met the old man that built Salvation Mountain twice . i spent the afternoon helping him with this n that .,first time i came i was told to bring paint . well being on the road i had none . so i thought… hmm what does a man living in the desert need 🤔. i brought him six gallons of water 😊 we became Immediate friends.😎. very cool and interesting man Rest in Peace Leonard…. you did good 🙏🏼
You guys should go up and down the west coast even into Canada checking iut abandoned ghost town and fishing and shit along the way theres some pretty cool stuff in Canada west coast too would be a cool series for sure
My Grandma lived on the Salton Sea for 25 years and all her neighbors died of cancer and now she’s living with my parents. Still owns the house but no longer waterfront property. The water is like a half a mile away. The “to be continued” with the flies buzzing had me lol because I know how horrible those flies are
There have been countless videos on Slab City and Salvation Mountain, none compare to yours in my opinion. I've been there myself. You guys are the BEST! Happy New Year to all of you.
Happy Christmas to you boys, your family and of course mom. Thanks for your time and resources. Interesting episode. You two have the greatest, weirdest information you enlighten us with. Stay safe and have a Happy New Year. 🖖🏼🤟🏼
Awesome stuff guys! And congrats to Juju on getting his real estate license! My wife is working on getting hers, and it's no easy task! Y'all stay safe, and thanks for the great content!..... Lone star state
I need to come out there, I never knew there was so much to do, I'm always curious about the desert and the antiques that have been left by people that traveled through the area. Fishing would be a plus...oh, ya. this is your Uncle Art.
Thanks for tuning in guys! I hope you all had a great holiday season. As always, watch for scammers in the comments and all merch seen in this video is on my website in the description 👊🏽

Same bro. I just bought a 34 foot as well. Expanding ahha
Dang, you have me beat by over 10 feet!
I agree but, there is living simple and there is living like a pig still.
I've been subscribed for a few years now and I'd like to say that ya'll are really quality folks. Senior definitely raised his boys well. \ya'll show so much respect for people, nature and the great outdoors.....the world needs more of you guys!!!!!!

😆 the struggle was real… soap and no 💦
Someone said it's been harder to get water lately. So, that's probably why.

Drug addicts
Dot has definitely “checked out” of reality ….
I read an article a week ago that area has a large deposits of lithium at the Salton sea. Makes me wonder what will become of it.
Im a Brit.
I lived in Yuma, AZ... Worked in Yuma and Brawley, CA.
Always knew about Slab City but never been.. Ive been past Salvation Mountain and Salton Sea a fair few times.
That smell around Salton Sea is unforgettable.
yo that place is on the edge of one of the largest lithium deposit in S. Cali.. the more that lake bed dries up the worst it gets..
I was watching the hummingbirds feed at Doty's place. I would guess they are Anna's Hummingbirds...
Thanks for sharing 🍺 🎣
