I had a Cintiq 13 HD and a very powerful pc but in 2016, I bought my first ipad, the first gen ipad pro and never went back to using the cintiq for drawing manga and comic commissions. Last year I upgraded to the 2021 ipad pro. I still use the Cintiq as a portable screen for my Xbox series s.
‘I always forget to save’ OMG dude you have no idea how many times I lost progress due to that when my macbook crashes! Thank god for Medibang Paint Pro’s backup file feature... Anyways, I also forget to sign some of my drawings. Have you guys done a video on signing your work? If not, I’ll keep a look out for that! I know that some artists have such distinctive styles that they don’t have to sign their work. Do you recommend doing that?
If it helps anyone in the future, I found the same keypad on amazon (bluetooth keypad circle keys) and the brand is Sanwa, which is a Japanese company. Its roughly $20usd on Prime at the time of me posting this comment. Its bluetooth but does come with a usb wire for charging ( microUSB - USB A).
I use the Logitech g13 the same way when it was first release. It speed up productivity immensely. Unfortunately Logitech no longer produce the g13, nor is it supported in their Logitech G Hub. I may have to look into buying Razer's gameboard if my Logitech G13 ever breaks. I love being able to rotate and zoom the canvas using the gameboard thumbstick.
@Steven you should give CSP a try if you haven't yet. Procreate is a wonderful app but there's a reason CSP is basically the industry standard in Japan.
Be careful when purchasing this device, since the last iPadOS 17 update, the PenPad is no longer compatible. New to their site should be but be careful. How is it possible and tolerable in 2023 to not be able to update a device like the PenPad via a website or dedicated software? They made me a 50% offer to buy a new keyboard, which I find scandalous. After less than a year of use, you are asked to pay for an update, hilarious (and not very eco-friendly). Who tells us that the next update won't reproduce the same problem?
Macros = Good cause it shortens the amount of combinations you need to remember. Its not rocket science. Stop making these kind of videos in which its really obvious so i highly reccomend sticking back to your roots in making videos such as "how to make naturalistic looking objects from the pros" or "pros teaches how to make a gig in art"

I also hope tabmate will work on ipad soon
I use E and B on the keyboard to switch between eraser and brush. Much faster than flipping over the stylus.

I hate razer curved design. It hurts my hand. Why cant it be flat like a normal keyboard??? Lol!
I have been looking for a solution like this for weeks! Do you think it could be possible to do this with procreate?
Yes

I use the razer tartarus on PC. It's the best thing you can use for shortcuts.

Ahhh how do you program a numeric keyboard for an ipad??? 🤔
Clip Studio has an entire menu area where you can assign nearly any function of the app to a keyboard shortcut of your choice.

Can I use that to procreate? I really want to know! If I can that would be great help *^*
You can use a keyboard with procreate. Look up the official procreate website for details.

You have to turn on subtitles on the youtube player.
