I am 67-year-old and the best meals I ever ate was at Paul Prudhomes restaurant in New Orleans, He was head chef at commander's palace before moving on. It was a blackened Ribeye steak and all the trimmings.

Beautiful place ,great food, great atmosphere and great service; great place for date night or any occasion. If you like awesome places with great decor ,next time you guys are in Florida; if you drive down to Orlando:Magic Kingdom .Stop in Tampa in Ybor City at the Columbia Restaurant ,it is a family owned Cuban restaurant that has been in Ybor City in Tampa for like 3 or 4 generations.The place is awesome to see outside and inside.The bar is gorgeous . I have nothing invested in it; just recommending it .

During our last trip to NOLA in March we tried Antoine’s, Pêche, Turkey & the Wolf, Cochon & Parkway Bakery. We have an upcoming trip planned for Halloween week. Plan on hitting Commander’s Palace, Galatoire’s, Dooky Chase, Elizabeth’s, Dat Dog & Lil Dizzy’s. Thanks for the inside look of Commander’s!
NOW, YOU ARE DOIN NEW ORLEANS RIGHT! All great restaurants that you have already tried, we even made a couple of videos about our time at Antoine's. We loved our time at Commanders, as this video shows. Lil Dizzy's is awesome, the only time we have tried their food was at a festival and their trout with shrimp was to die for. We also love Dat Dog! We have not made a video about it yet but it will be coming soon. Speaking of Coming soon, A-Ron has a family connection to the history of Dooky Chase, and we will be putting a very special video speaking about the food, the environment, and the importance of that restaurant to the Civil Rights Movement in the U.S! All of that, just to say , thank you for watching and thank you for coming to New Orleans and not just being a simple tourist! You are coming here and taking in ALL that NOLA has to offer. That is correct. It varies. Sometimes cooler and sometimes warmer. We tell everyone to bring a light coat and sweatshirt just incase. Now we’re getting heat index of 112-120 and 100 degrees every day this week. We never had it this hot it’s rare.
