  • Check out this video on a demo day with Unilock and their Unilyft. This machine can easily replace a laborer. Can be used on almost any paver with the right head on it. The future of labor is mechanization.

    How would this replace labour?

You do not need two other people on site to feed pavers to the person laying them. If you had to this could be a one man operation for laying pavers and you wouldn't have a broken back at the end of the day.

I could lay 10x the amount that did in 5 minutes 🤔

5 days in a row, by yourself?

@@Aumanlandscapewith that logic, you'd need a crew with that much work. So why would a single operator(typically someone just starting on their own) need an expensive piece of equipment when they could get 2 or 3 pieces of equipment that enhances their revenue flow? If a single operator has 5 days of work to get done every week. It's because this thing made 2 jobs take that long. I bet the gas ratio is absolutely trash with that gas intake. You are kidding yourself with this. Just a suped up tile mover. Get a gas compressor and hook up the attachment. If you have a job that lays a whole pallet like this in a video, you'd be able to finish in a couple hours. With this machine you'd finish in 6, that's with 1 person. The price outweighs the speed. The machine entirely, outweighs a good choice.

This thing would be great if it was able to get through gates lol

We remove gates and fences all the time if it allows us do use larger machines to make the project go faster!

Appreciate the video but you get more out of a skid steer, able to attach forks for pallet moving then bucket to haul in aggregate. My first year in Hardscape business, this machine would not be ideal for me

Also unless you pay to get aggregate delivered or spend hours shoveling it out of the 3/4 truck, you need a dump truck

Good point! Yes you would still need a way to excavate and for Base, but as far as the paver laying goes you wouldn't need a crew of guys.

We have all of our materials delivered to site. We are installers not a hauling company unless its very small amounts.
