    Great video.
    Jacob your marketing campaign is great, the coupons, the "leave behind", "qualifying over the phone" and your irresistible offers upsells. I love it. I can see you make a lot of money from this. Awesome bro.
    Sometimes if they are not ready to get started immediately, the great thing about these coupons is that, if you word it correctly, they'll keep the coupon, (with all your details on it and the irresistible offers), and call you later when they are ready to get the job done.

    I started this year. So far im going door to door, leaving doorhangers with a price already marked (good for 7 days). Getting decent results but wanting to expand quicker. Yelp is calling offering their service.
    All of my clients are verry happy with my work, and a few have even tipped me on top of what i charged.
    What would be a good strategy for quicker growth. I understand advertising, but should i pay to list with yelp or google or something like that, or just continue the pavement pounding but more of it (coupons, flyers,...)?

  • @JoseMunoz-vf8om
    @JoseMunoz-vf8om 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I agree with making the customer aware of the other services you do. I however don't advertise and never give any kind of discount. I have the best price I can to cover all expenses and give me some profit and I don't deviate from it. I've found that people who ask for discount will do so no matter what the price is. You can say a service is free and they'll still ask for a discount. I prefer to stay small, provide excellent service and my clients give me referrals on their own. It's worked so far.

    • @keith-kalfas
      @keith-kalfas  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @JoseMunoz-vf8om
      @JoseMunoz-vf8om 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean different strategies work for different people and different situations. I'm not in landscape but similar concepts apply across many industries. In my case, I decided to stay small for a couple reasons. I can better control quality, it's just myself and one regular employee, on certain bigger jobs I'll get more help. Most of the jobs I do don't require any license, small jobs are less risk so I don't have to worry too much about liability. I'm picky about my clients, only take referred clients. It's taken me a few years to do this but this way, my clients keep the leads coming, I know they'll be good clients and still managed to do $220k last year, which is small potatoes for most but pays the bills. Love your content and attitudes. Keep it up.

    Good Ass Questions! What if a guy is afraid of getting too many leads? My opinion, you have to take the risk or your business will never grow... My husband and i own a small tree service business in Northern Ca. Last summer, each of our crews were booked 6 weeks out. My husband kept insisting we needed to add another crew. All i kept thinking about was, Purchasing new equipment, truck, chipper, more payroll fees! Not to mention our GL, WC, & Vehicle Insurance fees. The scariest thought was WHAT ABOUT when the holidays come, and we slow down. What are we going to do with all this equipment parked at the yard, with no income.
    I am extremely happy we went for it! Gained many more customers and more income. We cant always play it safe... Love ur vids!!!

      Hey Grady Wray, we run steady but dont have 5 full time crews in full swing 100% of the time. We provide multiple services to balance out the ups in downs throughout the seasons and have trucks that dont roll out every single day. Achieving a constant cashflow 12 months a year presents downtime issues which is a volatile variable that requires different approaches to maximize efficiency while not missing the wave of peak seasons.
