This song is sung in hungarian, the melody is based on some old greek music. The instrument you were talking about is called a nyckelharpa - it's a swedish instrument and a lot of artists use it for that kind of music. So I missed your reaction on Nightwish and Faun today. Faun is so amazing and German of course - my favorite band on this kind of music. I've listening to Faun for several years now. An AMAZING collective. I might suggest listening to anything by Wardruna and Heliung...especially "Anoana"
Still think you would like Galdra by them. You might also like Anoana by Heilung…if you haven’t gone there already. Faun also did Walpurgisnacht, and Halloween…which I would also recommend. Enjoy!
