Nice too see that. It seems TH-cam generation has some interest of having some kind of sport. When I was kid in 1993-1995 we did not had smartphones but we trained Kick boxing and full contact including Muay Thai. It is nice to see that martial arts expends more and I hope younger one's are not doing it because of damn MMA which has nothing to do with honor like K1 back in the days.
Out of all the BS martial arts video's on youtube this one is actually great! I loved how economical he was with his moves and how he kept things simple and effective. Great job!
It is not kinda BS, but I agree that this is amazing. Simple and effective movement are the best. It builds your muscle memory and reflects if you train it well. I'd find those very handy too even though I just get to semifinal round on regional championship

We, as Westerns, can't really understand how a Thai person lives for Muay Thai. Its everything for them. Almost like a religion. It's there heritage and there pride. It's an honour to be teached by this absolute master. The Thai are just king in this sport and nobody comes close. Respect that.

But it's a martial art. in order to preserve it for future generations In the past, it was used for self-defense when the enemy invaded and we had no weapons at hand. So we have to have this martial art. Later, it was used as a sport for everyone to learn. If there are no rules in this fight, elbows and knees can be fatality.

And is an ancient boxing that is difficult to find because of Muay Thai Chaiya. not commonly used for sports Because it is a fight that focuses on counterattacks rather than attacks.
i like his techniques he knows how to take some steam off when it comes to powerful strikes, he also uses simple movements to evade, block, or counter on coming strikes which is very important
Try searching Ajarn Gae or Kru Gae. Muay Thai trainer. He is not famous as a boxer, but famous for training very famous Muaythai fighters like Buakao and Superbon.
You see Muay Thai combined with BJJ alot, but really Muay Thai and Judo would also effortlessly blend together. And obviously all 3 would be a very complete and synergistic system, each discipline bleeding into the next.
