Please only send campaigns on the verge of defeat or battles you can't win. Auto resolve wins won't be accepted. Modded campaigns are not currently accepted. Please only send campaigns/battles on large or ultra unit scale. Normal and small unit scasle will not be accepted. Not currently accepting Realm of Chaos campaigns/battles.
Please keep in mind the volume of emails I receive and that not all disaster submissions will receive a response. I will try to get to as many as possible. Feel free to "bump" your email once every 24 hours by responding to your submission with bump. Do not resend the save file multiple times as it will clog up my inbox storage.

I remember a similar disaster situation with Bretonnian armies in force march besieged in Khemri. It was title something like 'When you get the basics wrong'. I think it was the first video I've seen on this channel and I clicked it to learn said basics. Now here I am, almost 3 years later, cheesing the shit out of this game because of the influence of a certain youtuber I've been watching like crazy ever since.
I literally had this happen to me later into the campaign. Khemri fed a little more by this point and rolled up a massive 4 king army which I was expecting because of the siege on the pyramid chance at weakening me. I just didn’t mess with it. Took my main army out of attrition and lost the settlement. Called fourth my allies to rally on that SoB. Before that could happen he attempted to take my neighbouring settlement and got the fight of his life. Unfortunately I was too weak to take the BPoN again but at least no situations like this.

No idea why, but repanse is my favorite bretonnian lord. I think it might be her quest battle thematic where you literally feel like you're rushing to save the dwarves. When you finish that quest you feel like you're an actual hero of the people, haha
She is the best and it is a fun campaign.
yes of course "save the dwarves" and by save you mean take their lands and get the quest banner reward anyway right? The TRUE Bretonnian way

Repanse is the only Bretonnian lord I like. They’re a pretty bland faction (compared to the others in Warhammer) but Repanse’s desert crusade start position makes it fun
She's the only Bretonnian melee lord where she can get into a blob and get herself out of it with her ability.

TH-cam takes a while to get higher quality versions up in full, thats why they want you to use the premiere function. If you're so spoiled that a video in anything but crystal clarity offends you, then just wait to watch it instead of being a little bitch in the comments section.

It's a little hard to tell when first watching this video since there's some kind of a YT bug that has the video stuck at 360p while I first watched. It seems like Repanse here doesn't have her Grail Vow completed. Henri doesn't seem to have it either, but that can be a pain to complete simply due to the Questing Vow being needed prior and that's the real ticky one. However, since Repanse starts with the Questing Vow already completed, it baffles my mind as to how someone doesn't have her Grail Vow completed by turn what, 30 something? The killing of 5 enemy lords should be a cakewalk! Maybe they were going for some kind of themed gameplay where she could only complete it against a specific target?
All I have to say is, please check your vows when you play as Bretonnia, everyone. I like to use the character name space to put in some info, like " v " that I have clicked the first vow to rank up 5 times. Or " o " to mark that Lord to have pledged to order, where they need to be in a region while a total of 5 buildings finish constructing. I usually leave their first name the same as they start with and put a comma after it. I consider the rest of the space as my info tooltip area. I wish CA gave another way to check this info at a glance or popup without having to resort to this method, but oh well. At least the name note stuff is an option!

@@gamerin123d6 rookie mistake, always pick the defeat 5 lords because settlement battle wins count for it so it's much easier to complete unless you have a LL right there. Once you kill a legendary lord he's going to take 3-5 turns to come back you can easily get the vow before then.

omg this sceneario happend to me as well like two days before this video was released, just reversed, settra attacked the black pyramid while my forces was close to khemri, and he attacked and won against the sentinels, so next turn i attacked too the black pyramid as well and i win with an auto resolve cuz they were so damaged

I wouldn’t even call that (0:52) cheese, minimizing casualties so you don’t appear weak to predatory neighbors is just normal pre-modern geopolitics.
In that respect this is just good strategy.
@@dxbrasky I'm not talking about that, I was responding to the idea that it's cheese to want to minimize casualties to discourage AI attacks.
That's something that would apply even if CA could magically make a good AI.

Video probably just isn´t processed yet in HD. Takes a while after uploading.
TH-cam servers have to process the video and compress it, usually takes 10 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the video

I'm 2 minutes in and I predict you are basically going to godmode this battle(not with actual godmode but just by being a god at the game)
Huh weird, I had an extremely similar scenario happen to me a few days ago, the difference was instead of being Raponce, I was Thoric, and I had 2 Grudge throwers (that were full health) and a looot of missile troops, so, when I fought the siege it worked out ok even though the walls were broken I had enough slayers/warriors to cover those gaps and allow my ranged units/towers to shoot the enemy army away.
But also I think the AI broke because he had a bunch of infantry and chariot units just sitting there in the sand taking missile fire, I have no idea what happened but I killed an entire unit of war wagons with just the settlement's exterior towers.
Oh interesting, I wonder why the video quality is locked to no more than 360p on my end atm a couple minutes after this video dropped.
*edit* yay, fixed after only 30 something minutes. I guess I was just earlier than usual. XD

nah problem is their morale at low numbers they tend to chain route.

How on earth would it be "cheese" to maintain a reasonable strong standing army at all times (not loose too many troops during siege) in order for foreign powers not to take advantage of your weakness? That is one of the realistic elements to TW AI strategy.

The way Sieges work now is stupid they should go back to the old way where you got X amount of turns before you started losing troops during a siege.
Second: I do not see how losing the pyramid would ruin the entire Campaign since they could easily recover from the loss and retake it.
Third: I recover with no problem after losing my legendary lord on legendary difficulty times you need to take the L and move on.

I’m curious how the balance of power meter, and threat indicators are available in very hard? Is there a mod in use?
It's available on very hard, but not battle realism, so if you're on legendary, it's automatically disabled.
So you’re saying they’re not on legendary campaign…? Campaign settings affect battle UI?
@@Sealmako Battle realism is an option you can turn on that restricts you camera distance, turns off the balance of power, and the mini map. Legendary forces that on, very hard does not.

Probably better to cheese it by healing repanse and henri and use them only and then declare defeat. Rinse and repeat till win.
There's a good chance he'd lose all the artillery doing that. Not really worth it considering how well he did in this.
That might take hours. They can't deal with infantry blobs very well without support. And I fail to see how that could possibly be better than what he pulled off here

You can't retreat from battle while under siege
Even if he wanted to, he'd almost definitely lose the artillery. Besides, he won. Why add additional steps?

Are people new to youtube or why are they surprised a video is only available in 360p right after the release ?
I've watched other uploads from Legend and other users when they dropped mere seconds or minutes before starting it. This is the first time I can recall seeing it stuck at this quality level.

The game is ruined by being able to easily autoresolve by changing the battle difficulty anyway. Every fight is meaningless.
Well, no one is ever forced to switch the difficulty on the fly. If it's something that bothers you, just don't ever change the difficulty when you play. What's so bad about having the option to change it anyway?
If you can't control yourself to not change it during the campaign; that's 100% a you problem.
