Your dolls look great and your regrets are very relatable. Julie's outfit for $3 is amazing! You're right that AGIG is very dangerous. :) I agree that it would have been nice to have had a plan from the beginning of the collection, but I think that's something about collecting that you can't control. When you start collecting, you just buy one and see how it goes. And then you buy another and eventually you start thinking about a plan, but by that time, you've probably already bought dolls that never would have bought if you started with a plan. I know hindsight is 20/20 and you can't go back to the beginning and start over. I don't know of anyone who has the "perfect" collection and who never had to sell a doll. Thanks for sharing all of this!

I love this so much! Love that journey for you and I see all of these regrets a LOT in collectors. One thing that helps me is having a budget. Mine is annual (some ppl do better with monthly) and I haven't gone over it. But last year I *did* buy more dolls than I'd planned on. One thing that's gonna help me this year with that one is the fact that I made a video about my doll-related New Year's resolutions and I said very publicly "I will only raise the total doll head count by 4 this year. Hold me accountable. I'll do a video at the end of the year telling you how I did with all of my goals." So far it's been super effective. I think a lot of ppl are going to benefit from your video and I hope it sparks some self-reflection.

I absolutely accumulated too many dolls too fast as well, and have impulse bought dolls that I regret but also can’t bring myself to sell! It’s hard out here.

Don't regret, because hind sight is always 100%. Inspiration comes at odd moments, and the Universe gives you opportunities and you took them. The challenge is to make wonderful choices with what you have, That is where the creativity begins. There is nothing wrong with learning with things you love. How bad it that really?
