The Caravan 4G Internet kit is a versatile antenna and modem kit when you need to remain connected during your travels. The Teltonika RUT360 has 2 external Wi-Fi antennas, that create a strong Wi-fi signal with a wide reach. The RUT360 comes with 2 high quality Wifi Antennas that can be replaced or upgraded. This 4G modem comes with SMA connectors, instead of TS9 The SMA are easy to screw in, higher quality and do not break as easily.
The kit consists of the popular RUT360 4G modem, Poynting MIMO-3-12 outdoor 4G (5G Ready) Antenna with 2m coaxial cable and a vehicle power supply socket.
In order to get connected, all that is required is a SIM-card of any network operator with a current data (or prepaid) plan.

Teltonika RUT360 4G Modem
This rugged modem is designed to work in industrial applications. It can stand temperatures up to 75C - meaning it will keep working even in hot conditions, where regular consumer-grade modems will have problems. It has 2 SMA connectors for a MIMO 4G antenna, the SMA connectors are superior to the regular TS9 connectors used in other 4G modems. The antenna cables can be screwed in, which creates a stable connection. You will not have to keep buying new adapter cables, when your TS9 connectors break. The RUT360 also comes with 2 external Wi-Fi antennas, that can be replaced, if needed. The external antennas can be pointed in a certain direction, where you need your signal to be stronger. They can also be upgraded for more range. Regular 4G modems come with internal Wi-Fi antennas, you can't do anything to improve your Wi-Fi signal.
Poynting MIMO-3-12 Vehicle Antenna
This is a 4G/5G omni-directional antenna. It has multiple mounting options, including magnetic attachment to your caravan roof. It is a robust and water-resistant antenna (IP 69K), ideal for transportation and marine use.
The MIMO-3-12 is a 2-in-1 high performance multi frequency antenna within a single housing. The two cellular MIMO antennas (for 2G/3G/4G) covers the contemporary 617 MHz to 2700 MHz bands, as well as the new emerging LTE and 5G spectrum for 450MHz and 3.5GHz CBRS bands. The ultra-wideband performance of the antenna allows it to be used across different operators and technologies and is ready for future cellular technologies up to 3.8 GHz for 5G applications. The antenna exceeds the performance of most competitors due to the attention to the design of this high-performance antenna. This is an important criterion for the transportation and marine market, which the antenna was specifically designed for. Main applications are for commercial/industrial vehicles, marine, M2M and other IoT systems using a wide range of radio technologies, while remaining futureproof over the wide frequency band.

Great vlog. Am I right that this is just for when you are using a SIM card so it won't pick up an boost a local wifi hotspot signal say on a campsite?
