##--UPDATE--## Developers of Thingino have simplified the flashing process, read instructions on the webpage you download 'wyze-cam-2.zip' from for the latest changes, which are at this point of me placing this comment:- The point in the video I say copy one of the binaries to the micro sd card, you can now copy over both binary files to the micro sd card. You no longer need to rename the binary file, the installer process will identify the type of camera sensor for your Neos SmartCam and select the correct binary from the micro sd card 00:04:38 Copy both binary files at this point 00:05:00 Don't rename .bin files, leave as is, installer will identify and pick right binary for your SmartCam Get latest Thingino installer steps here :- github.com/wltechblog/thingino-installers/tree/main/wyze-cam-2
I’ve done the same tonight by following the Thingino guide. What I’m not clear on yet is whether it can be set up to offer anything like the functionality we had in the Neos app. Need to finish going through the guides I guess.
Thank you for this, I originally installed the jxf23 firmware but was getting the 'image: preview' with no image so followed the instructions to 'upgrade' to jxf22 and now have an image!
Hi, Managed to flash one of neos cameras. But is there an app where i could add this camera so i could access it remotely or at least something similar to the neos app? I tried to add it on tinycam pro and wyze app with no success
Thanks for this - I now have it working but wondering if there is any way in getting this feed into my synology system? I can get it to recognise it but then it says it cannot authenticate it?
I don't know - someone may know on discord, for any help goto thingino's website, at the bottom is a link to their discord channel where loads of users are helping out.
