Dirt to Daytona by far my favorite NASCAR game ever made. Wish I actually had it but my old friend down the street had it and we played that game all the time!
Personally, I really loved EA's NASCAR '05/'06 games... Sure, they were very arcade-y, but they were still extremely fun... Certainly some of the best games from that genre's time period... So, if you haven't checked those out, I highly recommend them on the PS2! I would suggest that, if you want something much more fun then challenging!

Yeah 60.00$ is a bit to much ( even though I just got the game yesterday, but hell I've spent more money on A LOT worse ex: the last five years of NASCAR games from Eutechnyx = 300$ plus 10$ on DLC) But Its a good game if you just want really good racing from the AI (Now I haven't raced the adaptive AI but If you don't want to race 5 23% race's with the adaptive AI for them to really match up to your skill level and just want to go in there and race you can change the AI on the race setting option.) But at its core the actual racing and physics are really good so I would wait until it gets to be about 40 to 30 bucks, because its definitely without a doubt better than the eutechnyx games could even think about being.

Did you play thunder 04 online I was an many leagues throughout the 8 years or so I played it. and I agree 2000% with your "rant" I want a Simulator I want to have to work to be in the front
He's on Xbox which is 30fps and loads in about 20-25 seconds from what I've seen, ps4 has 60fps and load's in about 14-17 seconds from what I've played.
NT 04 destroys this game. I know this was recorded only a day after the game came out but. no NT 04 is so much better then Heat Evolution its not even a contest.
I disagree on your madden point, there are a huge number of players who would play a true simulation madden game. Making madden more realistic is one of the biggest requests on OS.
Don't act like racing requires more intelligence then football, the average iq of both sports is quite similar the reason madden isn't realistic is because most people who play madden aren't hardcore football fans most are just people looking to play a game versus a friend or looking to play ultimate team

Its part of the adaptive AI. As your speed rating goes up then the AI will adapt to that.

One thing about this game that is annoying is the spotter/cc "Stay high, Still there"
