Penske looks like a cross between Robert Young (Marcus Welby MD) and Albert Speer. As he's always cozied up to Donald Chump, the latter description would probably flatter him the most.
Given this will be your first F1 race, hopefully you can do a video to discuss what IndyCar should / shouldn't adapt from F1 in terms of presentation, fan interaction and experience

There's your NASCAR California street race. My first race (of any kind) was the Long Beach Grand Prix in 1991 (and 1992). As a kid who grew up in the area, spent time "camping" with my parents (Queen Mary RV trips) in the area, it was a very cool experience.
I think you make a good point that all Indycar has to do to promote LBGP is not screw it up. The fear for Indycar fans is that the series is stagnant, whereas the fear with say, NASCAR fans is that the series seems to make decisions specifically to personally spite the fans. For that, if nothing else, I say better that Indycar buy LBGP than NAPCAR.
NASCAR changed too much, before Roger Penske bought the series IndyCar consistently added new races and the schedule wasn't stale...NASCAR changed everything BUT the schedule for years and everyone got sick of so many races on 1.5 cookie cutters!

Penske owns Indy race series, why is it bad that they own a race event? Especially when NO ONE in America with the capital to do what Penske has (he ain't the richest dude here...). 3:35 MSR interestingly has 4 drivers (Dixon/Rosenqvist for enduro rounds) in the 60 for the Daytona 24 but only 3 in the 93 car (Palou for enduro rounds). Maybe they’ll add in Max into the 93 alongside Palou (a fellow Team Redline sim racer) for the Daytona 24?
Honestly I could see Max doing Daytona with Bimmer. For those unaware Max owns or co-owns, Team Redline, an E-sports sim racing team, they represent BMW in most championships they race. You might think hows an Esports team gonna get someone a drive in an M Hybrid V8? Well, its Max Verstappens sim racing team, not just a nobody. And honestly, if he wanted, I think he could just pick the car he likes the most and ask the manufacturer if theyd let him drive, why would any manufacturer turn down the, arguably, best driver in the world atm? Especially when he wont have Honda ties anymore from 26 onwards. Would be very cool to see him do it in a Mustang GT3 first tho and that would be much easier since Ford will be Red Bulls partner in the new engine regs

This is something Honda does on a regular basis. Lot of promo stuff. My cousin runs/drives the Honda HRC Baja trophy truck team (he is the guy in the truck for the Honda commercial that Senna, Max and Jett Lawrence are in). He was in Texas when the COTA race was going on and doing the promo stuff with his truck with Yuki. Red Bull and Honda have been promoting a ton.
I'm not thrilled with Cannon parting with Foyt. But, he reminds me of "Suitcase" Jake Elder. Absolute genius and always on the move. Glad to see Penske purchase the Long Beach Grand Prix. SRR to JHR. I wish him luck but, I hope he finds a home... Somewhere.

What you say is true. But it’s my understanding that Liberty Media is the promoter and owner of the Las Vegas GP. Liberty Media owns F1 itself. If the owner of the series owns a specific Grand Prix, that Grand Prix probably isn’t going anywhere.
He'd only buy them to shut them down, as he's done with every other super speedway that's threatened Indy; whether that was the motivation or not it was the end result. And that was even before he owned Indy and was motivated to as such.

Just put a fork in Indy Car. Outside of Indy it's dead, and even Indy is not Indy anymore. Watching the same spec cars year after year brings nothing to the table worth watching. With only one 500 mile race there is no triple crown and no hope of one. Michigan just sits and there are a couple of other tracks perfect for 2 more 500 mile super speedway races, but no one in power cares about the past history when Indy Car's were king. Just about as boring as it gets. NASCAR is dead too, so Indy Car is not alone. Put a fork in em. They are well done

Bought up PPIR to shut it down for a Denver track that never happened. Left it in disrepair and made it in the contract to never be raced at again.
Imagine if Penske bought Pocono Raceway, I should think Penske would know what to do to better the track safety wise for Indycar’s sake.

I am worried about Iowa. If they keep it at a half paved track then the event is going to tank. NASCAR of course is the reason they won't repave it.
