The decline of this game is honestly so sad, the game is still so good, but the skids are ruining the game. Thanks for talking about it, maybe ea while actually do something about the hackers
I think what people forget with Citron is that HE CAN DO A LARGE AMOUNT OF DMG at close range that is where he should be fulfilling his role as a tank.
I like to think even the subclasses have their own advantages such as captain flameface is an decent close range fighter (mainly because it's a horrible sniper)
At the beginning the Rose was completely overpowered, it was ridiculously op, in a point that it was hard to win as a zombie if the plants had more than one rose. I remember seeing a lot of people complaining about the Rose, until she was nerfed into the abyss and buffed a little to be at least ok to play with and against.
Gw2 is quite literally the perfect sequel to exist out of all game franchise’s, they quite literally took everything from the first game and just straight up made everything better, unlike most sequels I’ll use ow2 as an example where they remove a lot of features, and people complain about said missing features then those missing features from the first game gets re added as “new content”. Exactly the same issue with CoD. Now games are just made to flip a profit which makes the game feel lazy. But fr tho a gw3 would go insanely hard but I don’t think we will ever see this 😔
I remember getting so excited for gw2. It feels like yesterday when me and my brother would mess around in the hub or play online truly an amazing game with an amazing community
11:56 the actual reason why they did this is because a lot of the new characters where too small and could get stuck into small crevices and cracks in wall nut hills (think imp and citron ball form)
I hate this was their reasoning for disabling the gw2 characters, because they're basically admitting wallnut hills is a fucking awfully designed map if they don't want to change it to actually make it work with the new characters Yet there's still some spots the classic characters can occasionally get stuck in that werent even in the gw1 version 💀💀
We also don’t talk about the fact that on the final point in wallnut hills that scientists can still pull that stupid move of just activating the energy warp and running to the mansion’s entrance with the plants only being able to watch and or hope they kill those specific scientists fast enough to not activate it in the first place-😢
This game is undoubtedly the most enjoyable player vs player experience I’ve ever had with a game. I feel that it’s because it was seen as a “kids game” and therefore didn’t attract a lot of people who take video games way too seriously and drag communities down in the long run. I loved the semi-open world too, it felt great when you finally unlocked the two secret characters, not by throwing money at the game, but by engaging with it.

About torchwood and the goat character. That actually takes 4-5 months, as you need to collect 4 different keys, and it’s only possible to get one key at a 75% chance per month
This game is amazing. When I was younger I played garden warfare 1 and 2 for hundreds of hours, but the single player missions and breadth of maps and game modes along with g characters and upgrades made this one amazing
Since you asked so nicely, yes I will go back and watch your first video on PVZ:GW as someone who had the platinum trophy on first two titles (and enjoyed them immensely) I look forward to what you have to say about one of the best vlass based shooters ever!
PvZ GW2 is truly a great game. OG PvZ alr was absolute masterpiece, I never had more fun in any other game than that. GW2 brought it all to a whole another level, I wish that ppl would come back playing it.
I was so happy when one random Christmas, I got this game and it seamed that no one was talking about it even though it was my favourite game at the time. In my opinion Chomper is s tier as his swallow ability is absolutely OVERPOWERED (against players) because it is impossible to dodge and is a one shot kill. His mobility is incredibly fast when he’s under the ground and I thought that was awesome when my friends chose a player that wasn’t citron as they couldn’t run away and would just rage when I one shot them in ten seconds.
I swear, if you don’t play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 3, I’m going to be pissed! But it’s still a good vid, my favorite is your why tf2 is the perfect video game.
This game is one of the best I've ever played, and I've been very glad it is still receiving a decent number of active players. For anyone thinking of trying to purchase it and play it for themselves, the number of players on PC, according to Steam, seemed to have ranged from 400 to around 800. While this is relatively low compared to other games (I remember seeing mentions that anything around 1,000 players or lower is considered "not enough"), though part of this has likely been due to all of the recent hacking and banning issues, and the game has had peaks of multi-thousand players (mostly after its release on Steam last year). Meanwhile, I've seen mentions that the console servers are noticeably more active (as well as issues like hacking and banning being nearly non-existent in comparison to PC). Despite the "low" number of players, as long as you play either the 'Mixed Mode' or 'Turf Takeover' you'll typically find relatively "good" matches, as it seems to be where a majority of players congregate for online play (I believe the players, like myself, realize this is where the most people will be as well as being some of the "largest" game-modes, so it's a self-feeding cycle). In these aforementioned game modes, I have regularly found full lobbies of 12 vs 12 players, however, I have noticed it sometimes will start with around half this number before slowly trickling up to the maximum amount. I will also mention that the online public multiplayer PvP lobby's servers are somewhat unstable at times, which has been a huge complaint by the community for ages now. Most of the time, they seem to run perfectly fine and it is entirely dependent on your own internet connection as to how well it runs - like most other games - while other times you will notice that everything seems to have a "slight" delay to any actions, meanwhile, there are times where it is very noticeable and extremely laggy. However, overall server issues are either rare or not extremely noticeable. For Co-Op missions (yes, you can play up to 4-player Co-Op with your friends or bring 3 friends along with you into PvP multiplayer) as well as inviting friends to your backyard (which you can also do) it appears to run off of a peer-to-peer connection, so whichever friend you have hosting the lobby (or if you're the host) will determine how stable the network connection is. With this in mind, if you're having difficulties with the PvP lobbies seemingly not running well due to network connectivity, you could try the Co-Op modes for a better experience until the PvP lobby network issues subside. As a final note, EA *IS* still supporting this game to some extent - though it appears to only be bug fixes or in the situation that the community brings their attention to something serious like the recent dev ban tools being leaked - as EA appears to have just fixed the "banning exploit" the MewZe mentioned in the latter portion of the video. RedHead Gaming made a video describing what's going on and how we've been updated about the news (it's mostly community modding members that have first announced the news, with nothing official from EA *yet* ). Being that a decent number of people were terrified of playing in multiplayer lobbies due to this "banning exploit," the arrival of this fix will likely mean even more players playing in the PvP lobbies (meaning finding games will be even easier), and will likely also bring a few more people back that may have been on hiatus while all the issues going on. Honestly, with all of the coverage and the fixes being released, the game may even see another “high point.” All of this is to say; the game is still great, and with the recent fixes announced, now is better than ever to try getting the game and playing it if you've been interested.
Glad to hear about this game again :) haven’t played in a while though but it was a fun time besides the fact that you HAD to be online to play through the single player which REALLY doesn’t make that much sense to me but besides that, this game was definitely a step up from the first game. Great job on the video btw 👍🏾
I really enjoyed this video and I think that MewZe has listened to the criticisms he got from the last video and found a really good way of having his face be in the videos without it being obnoxiously frequent, I like how he seems to be doing exactly what he was doing before but just replacing GrubZe with his actual face, I definitely think this is the right way to do it but I would like to see GrubZe again (I don’t know how GrubZe could be incorporated into the videos now but I think it would be really neat).
I still play PvZ GW2 all the time I love it there is so many fun characters in fact I was waiting to load in between games when this video popped up I’m glad people remember this game (maybe we can bring it back) best characters in the game imo (Iron Citron, Toxic Brainz, toxic pea, party corn, Torchwood, and golf star) also torchwood isn’t that hard to get
Even to this day, I still haven't completed the entire collection book for the cosmetics, and I'm still getting new ones that I haven't seen before. Like damn, that's a lot of content.
This game truly doesn't get enough credit. I feel like the only problem with the game is character balancing. It's an amazing game I wish more people played.
You forgot to mention how on launch turbo twister did stupid amounts of damage to the point where with one button you could destroy a torch wood depending if you position yourself right
As someone who played this game for 5 years it always gaves me nostalgia each time i see someone talking about it and when they were putting z7 as a weekly character
A few small details for people who never played this game before: 1-With even more variants than GW1, there around 120+ characters to play as, with each one feeling different enough to be masterable. You can spend years playing this game and not even get close to master. 2-the hackers are only on PC. Console has no hacking issues, and have even more players than pc. I can usually find a full lobby on ps4 all the time. I imagine it’s the same on Xbox 3-this game has legendary variants. Some need to be packed, and some need to be earned in a special gamemode you unlock in nice completing the story mode. Most of them have legendary meters that charge when you get kills. 2 of them have a different meter, one requires landing hits, and one requires eating people. They are all very powerful in their own right, and are all really fun to play, and it feels so rewarding when you pack them. 4-the trials of gnomus(the way you unlock the special characters he mentioned) can take a while nowadays, but it’s still very possible and super fun. Multiple trials that can be challenging, mini bosses, and the 2 characters are both very strong in multiplayer. 5-other small features include flag of power(endless survival) mystery portal(monthly gamemode, ranges from capture the taco, speed boost, random legandaries, and a few more) a stats area where you can see all the stats for your characters in high detail( K.D, total kills, total player kills, highest streak, even specific stats like bean bomb kills) tons and secret collectible, chest, gnomb rewards, daily challenge(which Range from getting kills with characters, getting kills with specific abilities, winning certain game modes, getting High scores in side game modes, and many other things, updates which a whole new list every 2 days, and you can swap your active quest anytime for a new one) 2 time trial shooting ranges to practice and get better at, and many more I can’t recall at the time of typing this. There’s a lot 7- new upgrades system and can make your characters really strong. Every character can get basic upgrades like ammo, reload, damage, health regeneration , ect. Other upgrades tou can get account for the type of character your playing. All stars, the new infinite ammo soldier, citron, super brainz beam, and other characters that use over heat instead of ammo, get upgrades that let toy shoot for longer before over heating, and upgrades that make it so if you over heat, your weapon cools down faster. Elemental characters get upgrades that makes fire burn for more damage, ice freeze people faster, toxic spread to more people, and some characters can shoot through multiple targets. 8- there is years of content made from this game on TH-cam. Watching some of them help explain jets made this game so fun. I recommend anyone who is interest in this game or just heard of it, go onto youtube and search up pzw gw2 and discover. Some names you can start with: ZeroXFuzions- huge fan of the franchise, he still uploads these games to today, though he has slowed down massively compared to years ago. He was definitely one of the people who spoke out about issues the most. Gave updates to leaked info and always supported the shooters, even BFN, at their lowest points. He stayed loyal and has become the most popular person still here. His videos are basic but give you a great idea of the excitement this game had during its life cycle. ZackScottGames- the most popular person to ever touch this franchise, considered by many as the PvZ goat. He makes your simple, fun to watch, gameplay videos. He has hundreds of episodes on the game, and he captured the energy of a person just playing the game to enjoy it. Never really commented on major issues, just did his own thing. If you need chill gameplay to watch and relax, he’s your guy. Wolfy Playz- considered by many as the most entertaining youtuber in the franchise, Wolfy is an acquired taste. His homer is more direct, very explicit, and always made his opinion on every change known. Has a more chaotic editing style, and very much aims to entertain his viewers, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him. You’ll either fall in love with his content, or think it’s lame. It’s up to you to decide. He has many era and series throughout 7 years, and while he recently quit the franchise, many fans regard him the the most important person the PvZ community ever had, as he the the only person with a big following to call out EA and PopCap when they made mistakes. And be careful, If you disrespect the Wolf Pack, you’ll know about it. Cause they are more than just fans. They, Are A revolution. That’s all I have to share. I’m sure many people who watched this always know about this game and what it stand for, but for anyone who hasn’t heard about this game, or somehow just got into it, I hope I gave you helpful information, or answered any questions you might have had. It’s possible no one will read this, but hey it’s the thought that counts. If Your reading this @MewZe, thank you for bringing attention to this great game, and I hope your channel continues to prosper. Thank you for reading 👍
This video is AWESOME. I grew up playing this game with my younger siblings and it holds truly some of my most valuable memories. I'm going to watch it with them after i leave this comment :) Thanks MewZe keep up the work I'm sure you'll be one of the TH-cam greats one day
Idk if this is the banning problem, but every day after school I used to play with my friends in the neighborhood and got so many different people, and then when I came back to the game that account is no longer with EA. So many wasted hours
As someone who is watching this in the future i can say the hacking problem is basically non existent. (The hackers where hacking them selves making multiple accounts going after the hackers who hacked them and they all left because they got tired of hacking.
You forgot to mention that Engineer's drone has been replaced with a mounted turret, Chester charecters, berryshooter and citrus cactus didn't make it to the sequel.
So glad people are playing the game again thanks to the sale, the game is absolutely phenomenal and has me and my friends in it just like we were years ago.
God I used to play this game my entire childhood, it was so damn fun. Me and my little brother would always fight who's turn it was and stuff too lol... really good memories. I hope they make a new game that's better than the 3rd one because I honestly would play the fuck out of GW2 if it had a more active playerbase. Great video btw!!
The fact that I can still get full lobbies in a game that'll be 8 years old this year is insane. Shows just how good this game is and that it's not only the perfect sequel but the perfect PvZ shooter in my eyes
I still play this game even its old, this was my childhood and the fact i got it this year was a dream come true but i feel lonely playing, but there are some players play which makes me happy
most ppl think that pc lobbies are only hackers, and to be quite honest, in most old games, that is the game, just no europian lobbies in gw2, ive only come across 1 hacker lobby ever. and i play a lot on pc
The whole "hackers being able to ban you" thing has apparently been fixed by EA but this was very recent so I'm not surprised it didn't make it in the video
You should make a sequel With the overgoat and torchwood, the imp mechs variantion, the bossmode disapearence ,the New bosses, gnomus time thing gamemode at the end of the solo gameplay and the aim practice mode theres more but i cant write everything
The thing is with wall nut hills it’s really easy to tell who will win You will either be plants and not kill a single zombie because zombies instantly capture every point Or you’ll be a zombie who never gets to leave first spawn because 20 chompers decided to set up camp at spawn (If you know what I mean)

2-the hackers are only on PC. Console has no hacking issues, and have even more players than pc. I can usually find a full lobby on ps4 all the time. I imagine it’s the same on Xbox
3-this game has legendary variants.
There’s a lot
7- new upgrades system and can make your characters really strong.
Some names you can start with:
ZeroXFuzions- huge fan of the franchise, he still uploads these games to today, though he has slowed down massively compared to years ago.
I typed this in one go, so sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. I’m not going back to check, so hopefully if they are any, you can fill the gap.

This video is AWESOME. I grew up playing this game with my younger siblings and it holds truly some of my most valuable memories. I'm going to watch it with them after i leave this comment :) Thanks MewZe keep up the work I'm sure you'll be one of the TH-cam greats one day
Bro wdym people still play Gw2
5:49 This probably explains why I played wrecking ball so much when he first came out, just reliving memories I had long forgotten
make gw2 great again
(the revolution has started)
your "don't do it again" was so funny. Loved the intro!
thanks zteam sale
4 months later and I can confirm the hackers are still an issue
How ironic isn't it?
Idk if this is the banning problem, but every day after school I used to play with my friends in the neighborhood and got so many different people, and then when I came back to the game that account is no longer with EA. So many wasted hours
The 3rd game is actually my favorite it feels way more balanced then the first 2 and feels far more fluid
There’s a garden warfare 3?
@@HuzayefIbre its called battle for neighborville
@@HuzayefIbre yeah and its called battlefield plants vs zombies edition
@@HuzayefIbreyea its called pvz battle for neighborville
@@HuzayefIbre Battle for neighborville
Rose reminds me of Balthazar Bratt’s Mech from Despicable Me 3 lol
The faces look identical in a way
watching this made me wanted to play the game. Thank you.
I never knew there was a hacker problem in pvz garden warfare 2
This aged like fine wine in a good way.
As someone who is watching this in the future i can say the hacking problem is basically non existent. (The hackers where hacking them selves making multiple accounts going after the hackers who hacked them and they all left because they got tired of hacking.
Reason why I can't play the game because I don't want to risk being hacked
You forgot to mention that Engineer's drone has been replaced with a mounted turret, Chester charecters, berryshooter and citrus cactus didn't make it to the sequel.
Of course, chester and fruits were not included in the sequel, as they were advertising
@@taube_g Yea but they could just make them look different and give them a new name.
Game is not dead yet,as long as you play turf takeover you will usually get a filled lobby
The gameplay of this game is just shooting
The lore goes on a biblical level and it doesn't stop.
Nothing more infuriating than being a plant and getting decimated every 90 seconds or so when all 10 imps activate their mechs at the same time
You might’ve single handedly brought it back ngl
Good music taste and great video 🔥
So glad people are playing the game again thanks to the sale, the game is absolutely phenomenal and has me and my friends in it just like we were years ago.
Dude realizing that garden warfare 2 is nearly 10 years old makes me feel old, I already know this game is going to be nostalgic in up to 5 years
how sad that in Europe there is not even one player who plays it anymore
Imagine, this is what TeamFortress3 is gonna be like...
I remember when PvZ GW came out. It was stupidly fun and not something hard and tryhard like CoD or Battlefield.
I like the way you made the vid, also EA please make GW3
most ppl think that pc lobbies are only hackers, and to be quite honest, in most old games, that is the game, just no europian lobbies in gw2, ive only come across 1 hacker lobby ever. and i play a lot on pc
Need more of these videos ngl
I found your Channel trough the dbd Video and man I love you now!
The whole "hackers being able to ban you" thing has apparently been fixed by EA but this was very recent so I'm not surprised it didn't make it in the video
Its not suprise that when i play online there is still so much ppl playing it
Literally downloading now and i got this video wow
good i was wondering to buy the First one or the second one and you convinced me to buy the second one witch i wanted
You should make a sequel With the overgoat and torchwood, the imp mechs variantion, the bossmode disapearence ,the New bosses, gnomus time thing gamemode at the end of the solo gameplay and the aim practice mode theres more but i cant write everything
Ok but now we need MewZe to review battle for neighborville
Playing against bots on crazy difficulty is the worst. Ur not bad at the game, the bots just mastered all 5 senses + dlc
The thing is with wall nut hills it’s really easy to tell who will win
You will either be plants and not kill a single zombie because zombies instantly capture every point
Or you’ll be a zombie who never gets to leave first spawn because 20 chompers decided to set up camp at spawn
(If you know what I mean)
The hacking issue is only on pc. Xbox and PlayStation have absolutely 0 hackers
