Re: The first story... I was waiting to be seated at a restaurant, and it was one whose food I love and the employees are great. Even as I walk in, I note that the receptionist is subtly checking everyone over so I make sure I'm pleasant to her because, with so many people looking for a few positions, I thought she must be part of the recruitment process. Not only that, but the staff and manager always talk about you and other candidates after you leave. If you were rude to the cashier, most likely you won't be hired.
In the places I've worked, the person doing the hiring always talks with the other people in the office about the people who came in for interviews. In at least one of these cases, the person who seemed to be the receptionist (i.e., who had a desk at the main door and managed appointments) actually had a much higher position and was basically second-in-command (the office didn't get a lot of people from the general public). I searched the nane on Reddit out of curiosity.
What home improvement center is that? I'd like to get a job there as a stalker too.
Stocker . Stalkers are criminals
I love and appreciate your videos, especially this series, I can't wait to listen to what you upload next
When are you going to make another r/IDoWorkHere
puro Puebla al 100 hm this came out an hour ago dude
@@corytheodst5260 he also commented an hour ago lmao. I guess he's thirsty for them videos
@@corytheodst5260 sorry
Yeah when
3:30 Wow! Within seconds of each other, customer recognized OP as working there and day shift manager thought OP didn't work there? Than God, no Karens were involved.
Last story. Anyone not so entitled would have considered a job in housekeeping and tried to switch to front desk when there was an opening?
I've always made a practice of being polite to staff no matter what. Visitor, customer, applicant, makes no difference. Hopefully it's helped me avoid situations like these. Oh, and I never assume anything from appearances :)
I'm surprised that first story ended like it did I thought the Karen would've taken her spot and kicked up a fuss.
It kills when u read the quote “hi, my name is Karen” like they actually said it. 😂
Finnaly, A New Fucking Video
With my favorite Subreddit
I really wish you were on apple podcast! I love listening to these!!!!
When are looking for a job, sometimes you have to take a job that might not be the best option at the time but have to take the next best thing to get what you want in the end.
I love your vids, fluffy. Keep up the good work, and I love this subreddit.
I do kind of wish you talked just a bit longer after each story because I like your thoughts
I want that beer, and it's too late to go out for it!
This is my favorite reddit channel, so many funny and intriguing stories (they're a bit helpful for social regulations)
Everyone loves the emo elf. Or Gideon Emery
I love your videos the stories are always fun to listen to🤣
I didn't realize that you sound exactly the same starting videos on this subreddit so when the video I was on ended I was in the kitchen and just hit the next button on my headphones and when I heard the exact same thing I hit it again and then I heard the same thing and hit the back button instead and it sounded the same once again so I just decided to let it play then when I went back to my room I realized that I was hearing new stories so I checked my phone and it was actually playing a different video
more of these, they're the best!!
This was very tame
Meh the server who got fav shifts is the ugh.
Everyone be like oh those story are pretty interesting
But no one's asking the real questions
Like how flat that beer must be by now 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Working ad a store, I can understand why the line is sometimes so slow
Not enouf staff or staff than can run a register or a customer who is a cactus in the ass.
The reason is that the can not read the condition of the discount or the from befor the price.
So when people start to complain, I can't stop mumbling ''shut the fuck up, they are doing their best!''
Dang it I keeps on seeing ur vids and there so interesting that I can’t stop pressing and it now 2 am I need sleep but can’t stop
It's nap time for me... Perfect timing. Lol
Is there a playlist of all these videos? I need to see this in rapid succession
I'm 60. I'm not a small guy, but I guess I count as a "little old man". Now, my mother was born in 1932 in a tiny little rural place. If I ever in my life had stated the idea that a woman "shouldn't do a man's job", my mother, who never beat me in her life, would have beaten me senseless. Lol. Just try telling my mother she shouldn't do something because she's a woman. (Well, was, she's dead now). You wouldn't be smiling for a while. Lol
It is amazing how much sexisum, and racism (and specieisum) is around.
Hey, I don't mean to complain. I'm listening to the "I don't work here lady" playlist and there's several duplicate videos. There's also some of the "DO work here" videos in the list.
It's not a problem, I just wanted to give you a heads up.
R/IDOworkhereis the best
I prefer this kind of story over idontworkhere as it is very predictable and very routine story.
I had a great time with an old man earlier today I was doing my Christmas shopping last minute had my earbuds in surprised I heard him to be honest I don't know it's like some kind of Sixth Sense thing didn't really hear him I just knew he needed help I took an earbud out he started talking about how he needed to find a large shirt but he couldn't find one cuz he couldn't read the label once I realize he was talking to me I walked over found him a large shirt handed it to him he said thanks and then I was on my way again to continue my Christmas shopping
Yo DarkFluff I’m looking forward to an r/entitledparents video
Saw this channel first time today :) where does DarkFluff live? I like his voice, but is he a native speaker? Im from Germany and it sounds a bit like a german accent :) like your vids! Sub!
YESSS it’s finally here!!!!
I find it ironic that as soon as the home improvement story was finished I got an ad from my local home improvement store
By design.
I think the old man from the second story may be suffering from a stroke. Too much stress for his heart.
7:37 ...Is OP Ebony Darkness Dementia Way?
God I hope the line lurker was pre COVID (I still social distance)
Restaurant Karen’s actions are sexual harassment
Why is the beer in the background keep alway bubbling?
I wonder if these i do work here people are also the same karens as the i dont work here storys
Do more of these
