Thanks for the updates, currently planning for 2025 PCT hike. Looking a first week of May start date to help eliminate some issues of the snow in the Mountains. Again thanks for your video content. Keep crushing it….
Another awesome one, brother! Congrats on hitting the 1,000-mile mark....and your successful summit of mount Mo#her F&cker!! Gotta be an awesome feeling to have finished the Sierra!!
Bravo.....the water crossings.......I think the extra weigh of backpack helps to anchor u n crossings .......other wise I used to rap everthing in my pack in garbage bags......it float....cheers
Friend of Mr. James of Kitsap, headed your way SOBO out of Dunsmuir. Will watch for you. Projected pass-by LVNP in a couple weeks or so. Happy trails. You're rockin' it, hombre. NBT. NuthinButTime
Please slow your pans down a tad, sir. Awesome country and congrats on your progress. I have ridden my bike up Sonora Pass 2x and hiked on the PCT near Donner Pass.
No major changes from desert. Except I went from trail runners to boots; this was done to accommodate my crampons (CAMP Stalker crampons). Added the usual stuff (bear can, ice axe, crampons, gore Tex pants, blah blah blah) My sleeping pad already had a high R value (Nemo Tensor Extreme). My ground pad (Gossamer 1/8” pad) worked just fine. Used same quilt (EE Revelation 20F) whole trail so far. I also have used a sleeping bag liner while trail.
Salomon Quest G4 boots with CAMP Stalker crampons. Can’t recommend anything particular…sorry. Will say that combo served me exceptionally well in the high Sierra in snow.
Don’t know. Never been in the Sierra in mid-July. I do know that snow is melting and that rate will likely increase with the warm spell that’s coming. Recommend checking postholer on the Internet.
@@bubblehead_hikes well, that depends on November elections! Love your videos and your blazing pace so far. Seems like the river crossings are even more challenging than the passes! At least more stressful for me to watch!
I'm glad to see you guys are unhooking your waist belts when you're crossing those Creeks. Experience.
really great job. I like your videos. What a adventure!! Enjoy your Zeros and good luck on your trail

Not too many PCT vlogs coming out of Coleville. That's a nice section of 395.
Be safe; keep at it!

I believe that the PCT leaves the Sierra Nevada along Chips Creek just north of Belden.
Outstanding view- Quite an accomplishment so far- 1000 miles Down...or mostly up
Thanks for including dates.

Got it. Will endeavor to do so in future clips!
The Tuolumne river is no joke, they river raft that river and it has class 5 rapids. Keep it buddy love the videos. Do you guys carry Bear spray?
We do not
The view at 13:24 😁
Did you change out any items for the Mountain section? Sleeping bag or Puffy jacket, sleeping pad R value? Clothing items, Thanks in advance

@@bubblehead_hikes Thanks for the response I really appreciate it, this helps out a lot. Keep crushing it loving the content.
Like the language or not gata stay true to who you are
What boots & crampons are you using - which would you recommend for a May Sierra adventure?
Salomon Quest G4 boots with CAMP Stalker crampons. Can’t recommend anything particular…sorry. Will say that combo served me exceptionally well in the high Sierra in snow.
If I head into the Sierra in mid July do you think 90% of the snow will be gone? River crossings?
Don’t know. Never been in the Sierra in mid-July. I do know that snow is melting and that rate will likely increase with the warm spell that’s coming. Recommend checking postholer on the Internet.
At this pace, when will you finish the trail?
No idea. That’s like predicting the stock market.

lol thank you for your support! If I were to really guess, I’m pushing to be done early September. Will see how the body cooperates!!
I finished the trail on 8/27. Earlier than predicted.
