The Carson - Iceberg section between Highways 4 and 88 is my favorite region of the Sierra and probably of the whole PCT. Don't know why, just always loved that area since I was a kid. Lots of PCT vloggers don't cover that section very much. Some almost leave it out completely. Thank you for your fine videos and for bringing us along. Much appreciated.
You are still in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, albeit not the "High Sierra." The Sierra ends and the Cascades start in the valley just south of Mount Lassen.
Oh no, don’t be nice to those darn Tahoe region Marmots! I had one very determined to get in my pack and tent near Dick’s Lake when I did the Tahoe Rim Trail :) We had some serious words and almost came to a stone throwing ruckus :)
What happened to your buddies that you went through the Sierra with?? All of a sudden you're on your own? You're still a front runner and it's nice to see conditions as you move up the trail.
@@bubblehead_hikes Understandable. Glad you all made us safely through the hard snow stuff. I guess there's still a little more to deal with, but not like what you've already encountered.

Simply gorgeous Gods country. You're living the dream my friend.
I’m guessing that peak at 12:04 is The Nipple?
You win the prize!!

Appreciate the geographical clarification. I can assure you that the last 150+ miles still feel (in some ways) like the Sierra Nevada 😂

We went separate ways at Sonora Pass due to differing timelines post-Sierra. It’s really that simple.
