Wonderful class! Thank you so much. Other than feeling wider, taller and lighter, I also feel like parts of my back have opened themselves up.

Hello David, I really would like to thank you for this wonderful lesson, I have followed it already at least 5 times and enjoyed it very much. I definitely notice great benefits , especially on my posture, after one year of about 4/5 UTube lessons per week from various channels. As it is the case with other lessons, I am curious to the fact that every time I do the lesson I go back to square one, in this case my ability to watch the small bug crawling up the wall. Would expect at least some of the improvement to stay with me for my next lesson.

Dear Vittorio, so glad you are enjoying this lesson! I hope you continue with it, and also visit us at www.feldenkraisaccess.com/ for many other resources, many of them for free. As regards the improvements you feel after a lesson, and noticing that they don't stay with you for as long as you would like - There are many factors which determine how long we experience the benefits of a lesson. Our age is one. Younger people have not had their habits with them for as long a time, and can be faster to find lasting improvements. The habits we developed in early childhood and infancy stay with us longer, and take more practice to free ourselves from. However, the more we practice, the longer our improvements will last. I have the utmost faith that you are on the right path! Stay with it, continue to sense and feel yourself, and write again to let us know how you are doing in this process of self-discovery.

Brilliant! I would like to learn more about how our anti gravity muscles work, I never thought of the extenders in that way before. Prone is fine for me and now I feel even taller and lighter! many thx! Much of this reminds me of the back lift in Tom Hanna Somatics and it gave me a better understanding with even more to consider, thank you! Dar

This really hurt. I did notice a difference but soon got into pain again. I had to stop.

Dear Elaine, Thank you for writing. I am sorry to hear that the lesson triggered pain for you. If you find that you have ANY discomfort or pain when doing a Feldenkrais lesson, I would suggest you do the movements in your imagination exclusively, until it is possible to do them in action. Even in your imagination, keep the movements slow, small, and rest between each movement. Feel free to write to communications@feldenkraisaccess.com if you encounter any other difficulties and need and immediate response. Best wishes for your health and well-being!
