Now I HAVE to get one!! 🤪 As I am dairy intolerant & low carb but not vegan, I use only quality canned coconut milk for my ice cream so it has more fat & works great in ice cream maker without an aggressive coconut flavor. Also add other sources of fat & protein like eggs, mct &/or avocado oil, gelatin, collagen & beef protein isolate. What about a marshmallow extract or emulsion? The "20 creami" comment is from Chris Young's review. It's a fair point for a home chef, and it does highlight that pacojet overcharges because they had exclusivity for so long (even taking in account its durability of materials does not balance the cost), but it is obviously true that the Creami is not a replacement for the pacojet. The hope is that Ninja does provide enough competition to convince pacojet to make a more competitively priced model.
What if you used some of the perfect sorbet to inhibit the ice crystal growth while churning it in an ice cream machine? Or would that not do anything/still not enough fat?

We've talked to them about it and so far no dice. We loved the Pacojet Jr and wish they didn't discontinue it

It would help but it won't be the same texture.
