Two guitar wonders, Peter you are a tone monger just as George was...no wonder the younger guitarists praise you !! you are loved more than you know !!
What a great video. Peter, I hope you get to read some of these comments. Your music has been part of my life and my love for music for over 50 years now. I started listening to and loving Humble Pie in about 1971. I dont need no Doctor blasted at many a party I attended in high school. Since those early days I have become a person who I believe loves the music from those days more than anyone else on earth. So when I heard about your health problems and I heard you were coming to play in my town and that it might be your last tour, I had to go! So- in 1972 my first concert ever was the Doobie Brothers at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, and what will probably be my last concert ever because of my heath problems I came and saw you at the same place The Paramount Theater in Seattle. So for me it was a fitting end to that long strange trip that its been. My first and last concert in the exact same place about 50 years apart. Love you and your wonderful music Peter, and I loved George too much too.... thank you !
I had the pleasure of seeing Peter do a show at the Berkshire Performing Arts Center in Lenox, MA USA many years ago. The crowds had thinned significantly from the heydey of Comes Alive by then, and there were a lot of empty seats. Peter came out all energetic and pumped but shaded his eyes from the spotlight to greet the audience, momentarily seeming to be disappointed with the turnout. But ONLY momentarily. He shook it off and gave it his all, even later when the main PA died and there were only the stage monitors still pumping for probably half a song. I’ve been to a lot of concerts but remember that one as one of the highlights - not even so much for the music, though it was great - but even more so for the classy gentleman who kept smiling through it all and still played his heart out as though it were a sold out stadium show with flawless sound gear.

NOTHING was more important than health and people. Everyone was forced to look at what they treasured in life the most and be a little more grateful for it.
drove 200 miles every night to see you and Steve Marriott at the Fillmore.. Humble Pie was just awesome one of a kind. you guys rocked hard. now at 71 Yea thoses were the good ole days. Blessing to you Peter.. Steve Marriot God rest your soul. you brought great happiness and joy to so many. Rock on Frampton!!
Peter - Congratulations on the announcement that you will be Inducted as a member of the prestigious "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" in October ! I was in the audience back on 14 June 1975 at Winterland with my then girlfriend (I am almost exactly 2 years older than you as my 76th birthday was a couple of days ago), and because Bill Graham announced before you and your band hit the stage that the concert would "be recorded for a live album", we in the audience were sure to applause, scream and whistle as loud as we all could. When the "Frampton Comes Alive!" double album hit the record stores I purchased it and - I didn't even look at the track listing inside in my haste to listen to it as soon as I returned home. What I heard was "total recall" for me, so I knew the 14 June concert at Winterland was on the vinyl disc, much to me and my GF's delight = we were bragging to our friends later: "We were there in the audience screaming and clapping during this song... and the song after!", etc.. Many years passed, I moved from San Francisco to Santa Monica (Southern California) and then I saw you again at the Orange County Fair in Pomona several years ago. There I was sitting amongst fellow fans of yours, but there were also younger folks that just wanted to see the live concert that night, I believe. The highlight was that since it was an "open air concert", half way through your concert 100's more people (about our age) started rushing in... in a short time it was SRO in the stands = they probably heard some familiar songs from radio during the late 70s wafting in the wind from the speakers, and purchased tickets to see you perform. Peter - I want to wish you a very Happy !%th Birthday, and thank you for never giving up "doing what you do" !
Wow Peter you play this song on your guitar and it sounds like someone is singing. Your a genius. What I also love about you is that you are such a humble man. You're the best in my book. Thank you for all your music. ❤

No music that I own has brightened my day and soul more than Peter Frampton's. Sure, I love Canned Heat, Marillion, Fish, Pat Metheny, Steve Morse, Rush, VH, The Cars, April Wine and Toto but Peter's work in total has captivated my entire being since this punky kid of 10 in 1976 first heard "Frampton Comes Alive" on my uncle's beloved Technics turntable. Thank you Mr Frampton and please come back to the Lehigh Valley for Musikfest just to visit(no guitar needed) so we can give you hugs, kisses and buy you a brewski.

Those of us who were young and grew up with you are now all aging along with you. You're never alone Peter. Thanks.
I've never been a Frampton fan, and I've heard many versions of this song, but this is pure bliss!
Frampton played uncredited guitar on many of George Harrison's tracks on the album All Things Must Past.
Nothing but Respect for Mr Frampton
Every time I watch him play, I am struck by how much he appears to really be enjoying it
Mr Frampton, I want to thank you.

F' me, that is gorgeous. My favorite George song and Mr. Frampton just killed it. His version of While My Guitar... is also otherworldly.
Frampton is so underrated. He is as tasteful as Beck, and as timeless as Clapton. He should always be counted among the best guitarists in rock.
Totally agree.
He’s always been the best totally agree with you
💘 😻 Love Peter Frampton ! A classic song too !
He chants poem, tells story, and sings myth with the guitar. No shreds, no tappings, and no gimmicks but with melodies, with tones, and with nuances.
