I think Owen is a good chief who can make difficult decisions. He has every right to be angry about the situation in the hospital, but Christina can't change the situation either. The fact that she does everything for Teddy after Owen has put her in this situation makes perfect sense. But I really can't stand Owen in his personal life. He thought he could change Christina, even though she told him about her relationship with Burke and that she never wanted to change for a man again. Still, Owen thought he knew what was good for Christina better than she did. And the moment he realizes she's not the woman he wanted her to be, he gets angry.
I think abortion is and will always be a controversial topic. I respect all opinions and perspectives on the matter. I would also feel really hurt if my partner held my hand through a hard experience and decision only to spit it back in my face later.
I finally caught up to you! She didn’t have an abortion before this. She had a miscarriage before her appointment. I just feel like she told Owen that she knew she didn’t want kids and he said he thought she’d change her mind and married her anyway. When they said that I picked sides. You don’t marry someone because you love who you hope they’ll end up being. You marry someone because you accept who they already are.
Ok seriously, when you see a family member berating a patient about their liver like that, you DO NOT put them in a room together to force her to listen to even more berating AFTER the surgery.
Cristina and Teddy were wrong. Owen had every right to be mad, they did whatever they wanted and knew there wouldn't be consequences because of who they are. Cristina always does what she wants when she wants. I like her, but she thinks she's above the rules. As for Owen, I know a lot of people don't like him and he's definitely done things he shouldn't have, but in this specific instance, he had every right to be upset.
I partially agree. He does have every right to be upset, but I feel like he plays Chief only when he wants to. Kind of why I dislike him. When Teddy was requesting Christina he should not have put her in that situation at all. As Chief, it was his responsibility to make sure that the person that was performing the surgery was who was supposed to have been performing it. Christina was not supposed to have been there. He makes decisions with his feelings always. Never just to be actually a good Chief. The only reason that he was upset with her is not because she did something wrong, but because he felt that they we're insulting his authority. And made him feel bad and so he refused to take any responsibility and instead play the I'm just being a good chief card. I don't think Christina thinks she's above the law, but I definitely think that she doesn't care. Oftentimes they put their feelings first, which is actually an extremely interesting progress of Christina's character. She is putting her loyalty to Teddy above things she would normally never do without great resistance. I think there is no real fault here, it's just a horrible situation that I don't think Owen can wrap his mind around. I feel like he thinks he can't get his way and make her life into his life so he lashes out. I don't think he's mad because she always gets her way, I just think he's mad because he doesn't get what he wants, in a situation where she's the one putting her neck on the line. They are not a good match. And I don't think he wants to admit it, and instead wants her to submit. What puts him in the wrong is his last line that he shouted in this house while everybody was there. He had no right to say that to her, especially when he went through it with her. This is seriously Owen's problem for the entirety of the series, not just with his relationship with Christina. So it has led me to believe that he just sucks at relationships with anybody who doesn't want exactly what he wants.
Right to be angry? Yes. Try to make Christina feel guilty for making a choice she had every right to make? No. She should have never talked to him again after that.
I also think that Owen is the best chief. He makes decisions based on what is right even when that might upset his collegues. It´s an unpopular opinion, but I really like Owen. I think he really grows personally. He sure has had his bad moments, but so have all the other characters on this show. They´re just easier forgiven, because they´re more liked.
I agree. Owen is a pretty good character, the only thing I disagree with when it comes to him is how he is with his romantic partners and what he wants from them. The hate for him is insane to me, like I don't understand how people seem to hate him as much as Umbridge or other characters from other franchises that have done so much worse. It's honestly just bizarre😅
Dead husband does not mean you get to do whatever you want in that hospital. They were overtired and could have made a MASSIVE mistake with that surgery. I honestly think the punishment of Cristina getting taken off of Teddy's service permanently for now fits the crime.
Actually Teddy was the one who told Webber and Hunt that she wanted Yang to do the surgery cause the other surgeon was sloppy. And Webber was the one that told Hunt to wait to tell his bff Teddy about her husband after she gets done with her surgery because it is policy as he was telling from one chief to another. They can’t be mad at Hunt for doing his job and teddy requested Yang anyways.
Yesh for sure, he chose to be teddy's best friend instead of Christina's husband or overall be a chief who does not involve feelings in his decision making.

Christina only had one abortion. The first pregnancy turned out to be ectopic (in the fallopian tube) and it ruptured, ending the pregnancy.😊

1:06 she's in Legends of Tommow

Oh I mostly agree there. You never make decisions based on feelings when your doctor. Great point!!
@@Mserg_5997So beautifully said !!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😊

I stand by my opinion that Hunt makes a really good doctor, but I don't think he makes a good partner

Well they did say that Surgeon Is a shark, i'm talking about Teddy and Cristina steal other people surgery by the way
Reactions are getting me through the mid season break 😅

Well, but as chief he should denied the request, or tell Cristina before the surgery that was Teddy's husband
Yesh for sure, he chose to be teddy's best friend instead of Christina's husband or overall be a chief who does not involve feelings in his decision making.
Owen is the worst, he’s really a man baby.
I really hate Owen. He's so condescending and an absolute pos. He never gets any better either. I wish they'd get rid of him already
Scandal reactions?
