    The 2.5 lift with those 34's is the perfect combo. Nice jeep

    Jeep looks nice! Not that the rims are bad or anything but some different ones would make it look even better.

      Thanks! Yea i agree, ive been looking for some rims. Saving up for them. May end up going with the Procomp 51 steel black wheels to save money

    Exact setup I am going for, looks great. If you don't mind checking, what is the total height from ground to highest point on jeep? I am limited by a 6'3" parking garage at work and have not been able to find what a setup like this would measure at.

    I'm leaning towards getting that same lift kit for my JK. I'm still thinking about the teraflex 2.5 even though I don't plan on going off road much. I still want to do some mild trails.

    Hey Billy, Thanks for the video. I am thinking of the same lift for my JL too. How much was the lift kit? Where did you buy the lift kit?

    Great look. I noticed your grill and headlamp inserts are blacked out like with the Rubicons. This is something I want to do with my Sport as I like the contrast. Did you purchase aftermarket inserts or plasti-dip yours?

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both actually, at the time they only had aftermarket gloss inserts, so i purchased those and plastidipped them. I have a TH-cam video on it that you can watch on my channel. 'How to update your sport grill to a rubicon grill'

    Billy great videos bro. All I was looking for. Question, did you leveled the jeep with the spacer or did you keep the factory ratio?

    Nice video and am with most on here, that’s what I would like, the lift and tires. Question, did you need to add a different track bar etc. I hear people need to add. Also, did the spare wheel and new tire fit on the stock wheel carrier?

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, you wont need a new track bar. She still handles great without one. If you were going 3+ inches maybe i would recommend getting an adjustable track bar. 285/75r17 tires Spare tire will fit on the stock carrier but itll be a tight fit. I picked up the rough country spare tire carrier to raise it up a few inches.

    Feel that 2.5 inches! lol. Nice upgrades. I been following your build for little bit. If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for that lift kit install? I am thinking about doing the same to my JL sport as well.

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LeeROBD went with a small local shop, nice owner who just installed a lift on his personal JL as well. Install took him 2 hours. He charged $100 an hour so $200 plus an alignment at $115, so i was $315 out the door. Plus the price of the lift at $179.

    Hey, after all this time have you experienced much sag to the spacer lift? Did you add an aftermarket steel bumper? I've heard over time they can sag especially with added bumpers.

    How come you had to run the 1.5" wheel spacers? Would the tires rub without them with the lift kit installed? If so what would they rub on? Thank u

    Great jeep 💪🏽..I’m think about getting a 2016 rubicon unlimited Jk or 2018 sports unlimited JL ..can the sports unlimited handle snow and sand?

    • @BillyOnroad
      @BillyOnroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks, the sport handles great in the sand, haven't had much snow to test it out on. The 4wd drive system in both models can handle pretty much anything.. i just don't have the locking diffs or disconnecting sway bar for some more advance rock crawling is all. But a winch will be coming soon for added insurance.

    • @deereman8237
      @deereman8237 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any Jeep with 4x4 or AWD will handle snow and sand I’m pretty confident. I know our 13’ Rubicon and 16’ Cherokee handle snow about the same, of course the Rubicon is better in the deep stuff.
