Trust and believe that it wasn’t just one horse fly…… i live in NC and for some reason they always mess with me as well lol… I literally have come to a conclusion that swinging and swatting at them makes it worse… literally the only thing that works is to yell at them. I'm flathead fisher here in lake Norfolk Arkansas we use bluegill anywhere from 3-7inches live an cut bait but not cut in chunks but cut slices on fish to bleed an hook bait on, an have fun. peace Dj

Hey Micah, the fish that you caught ,the morning after you camped, in forty feet of water ….remember the scrape on its side that you didn’t know what caused it ?! Did you notice the large semicircular pattern of scrape marks ? That 10 pounder was actually the intended victim of a much larger catfish !! Look back at the footage ! Lol. Love watching you ! We have a lake here in NE Ohio called mosquito lake and we use the old yellow Colman lantern to burn them at the end of the swarm your cleaning up sometimes a 2” pile from the bottom of the boat cat fishing is great there skeeters are brutal.

I said they look alike, sound alike, their demeanor is almost the same and they both do the kooking. Me koming to just say thanks for the video and to say, this is my home lake and knew exactly where you were far as the park and dam area, I see ppl talking about you and Ace are brothers lol. It all komes together now. I actually hit you up on another video and wanted to see if we kould at least fish together. I think you were on Santee maybe. Anyway, you did good on the kats. They are pretty big here. I had a blast last week into this week. Kaught a few 11's a 15, a bunch of 8's, 7's and the biggest kame on a double, it was a 8 and then as I was landing the 8, my other rod went down and it was a 20. I kaught 2 doubles that day and the 1st double was 15 min after I got there. They were 11 and 7. Glad you enjoyed the fishing here. Kome on back some time.
Please go to Dale Hollow lake in tennessee it is is both Kentucky and Tennessee. Great fishing for bass, shell cracker, caught crappie, large and small mouth bass, catfish, walleye. stay at starpoint resort they are the best.
I’m just letting you know you should be using circle hooks for catfish. It will prevent them from swallowing the hook. When using a circle hook make sure to use a snell knot. I’ll help the hook set a ton. Good luck!
Try keeping sme of those 4 to 6 inch perch in the live well next time. Bigger blue cats are very predatory and that could be a great way to up that personal best.

Use team catfish circle hooks… they hook the catfish in the corner of the mouth every time and you won’t lose a single fish!
