Trauma is not as much what happened to you as much as it is the story, the unmetabolized energy STUCK in your body!!! True transformation only takes place when you begin to learn about you and by uniting your MIND and your BODY together! In this membership we have a different theme each month and we meet LIVE weekly on zoom and work through the pieces of the healing journey together as a community.
Affordable LIVE Support: Video courses are great, but they can never replace the valuable feedback you can receive by working with a live coach, together with other thrivers!
Most coaches (myself included) charge an average of $125/hour for one on one assistance. In this economy that is very challenging! This membership offers between 9 - 12 LIVE meetings per month offering Group Support, Group Coaching, EFT Sessions, and Breathwork Sessions. Combining Cognitive Learning together with Somatic Modalities with Live Support. The value of this would be between $1,125 - $1,500. Yet you get ALL of this for just $79/month!
You do not have to heal alone nor does it have to break the bank!

The exercise you are describing is the same as EMDR but you aren't going back to a memory from your childhood. It helps to bring up the image and how it feels in thr body. My therapist can help guide me in labeling that like grief on no one caring or protecting me. I don't alway recognize the feels with body sensations. I do dissociate sometimes and realize my protector is trying to protect me. Allowing to reframe it I am safe it is okay to cry or express how I feel.

Michele. I love these meditations... Just getting to the point where I can let it in without wanting to explode and jump on a horse to ride out and conquer all evil... Haha... I can experience in the way you communicate and the resonance in your voice that you also been a dweller in your own realms of WTF. Which makes it way easier for my system to give it the benefit of the almost always present doubt and distrust.. It is really helpful... Thanks so much. Blessings to you !

I was in a lot of resistance to listening to what you wanted to share in this video, about toxic shame and somatic tracking of its' sensations in the body, cause this is exactly what i know consciously i need to do in order to heal myself but at the same time the thing i fear and resist the most- feeling my body sensations. I am in a lot of pain. Head, back, neck, shoulders, belly, jaw, eyes feel so tense. And it's been like this for years. Funny enough, this fear of feeling all of it, makes it worse. I constantly feel in fight or flight mode (and my body has found the freeze reaction so useful), and constantly feel like i can't stand that pain, i can't stand being in my body so i find ways to escape as much as i can from feeling everything. It's how i get control over the powerlessness i feel. Over the pain.
It's so difficult to feel safe in my own skin. But despite that, the best approach is being kind to myself, being kind to the sensations that make me so miserable. How can you be kind to something you can't stand? To something that is "killing" you from inside?
It honestly feels like a mission to make peace between the the two greatest enemies.
I miss the patience and kindness to my feelings. And myself.
I hope to do well and learn that it's ok to really be present with my feelings.
Thank you for uploading this video, I'm watching it and learning. Thank you for the important knowledge that you share 💜

I can so relate.... the thing is the sensations that we can't stand.... the fear of feeling them - are there because at one time in our life the feelings were too big for us - so we suppressed them and the nervous system was like.... oh you suppressed and ... you survived so that is what we must continue to do. The problem is - with all of the emotion still stuck in the body - it prolongs the suffering! I've so been there. I hade to learn how to change my relationship with all of these opposing parts of me - as we do this, we can learn how to be with sensations in a way that is not overwhelming. And then.... we can nurture the pieces of us that are still hurting from the past. Hang in there!!!

Hello dear Michelle and everyone else who might come across my comment, i wanted to say that i have been practising somatic therapy by myself for a few weeks now. I am feeling the painful sensations, the ones i labeled as "bad" and "wrong", not with the approach of "go away!", "you arent wanted", "you shouldnt be here" but with the approach of "I want to understand you" and "I am here with you" and it's been so helpful. I am paying attention to how i am feeling and breathing at the same time. It isnt easy and it takes a lot of courage and patience and trust. Thanks to allowing myself to feel with a compassionate approach, I feel calmer and safer and softer in my body. I find the somatic therapy as truly the best way to let go of stuck emotions. I am amazed by how gentleness can create wonders. Thank you so much Michelle for dedicating your time to help people who need and want help. You are amazing ❤ and however is afraid to take the first step to feel, i know it can feel terrifying, but i can promise you, you won't regret it, you will learn that you can feel safe. We can do this 🙏 @@cptsdrecovery

Learning to be with shame take time..... we have to build our capacity to be with it otherwise our trauma responses turn on and we reflexively go into fight/flight/freeze or fawn. One day at a time... hang in there!

Hi Michele. . . Is there any specific area or organ in the body where that negative energy of shame settles? Cause according to chinese medicine its in the gut and specifically in the Colon area. along with grief ,guilt and worthiness. It feels like a spiritual cord thats been plugged into my Colon and its sucking the life out of me. 🥴😖🤦🏼‍♂️ Its the most horribly, terrifying fear filled feeling Ive ever experienced . . . Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. 🥴😖

Hi so sorry to hear that this is affecting your colon. Different organs are associated with specific emotions for sure. At the same time though - we can get trapped emotions in different areas of the body - that stuck energy creates dis- ease in the body. There is such an emotional component to physical symptoms that we may be experiencing that sadly often gets overlooked. Releasing that stuck energy is so important for our health - there are many different modalities that help - I'm trained in somatic experiencing, which was my go to modality on my own recovery journey. But everyone is different - I do encourage you to look for something that resonates with you!!! Hoping nothing but the best for you!

Understandable... if you've been through emotional trauma - being in your body feels dangerous....
