The Paliva weekly for triple float is actually easy, u only need to catch it (no need to keep the fish) overnight at Mediah Sea(blobfish/tripod) location will basically help u complete it, and for smokey, just park an alt or 2 at the hotspot spot for it
I once caught a red fish in Heidel worth 80mil plus then in the morning its worth 65mil because of expiry sold it around 200 mil in LOML. Thanks for the tip about floats man. Didn't know that.

But velia should be way better on ods due to 3 fish - corvina / blue bat and silverbelt. Another thing might be bad You don't look at %, so now everyone at velia on ur server and You selling all Your fish at 80%. So if You find Yourself on busy server swap at least couple times to find better %. Might be better at this point to sell in valencia, You lose in distance bonus but maybe no one sells in valencia so u get 130% instead of 80%. Ill prob cook up a new video on results and why and how

some false or incomplete information: there are 3 groups of fishes in your knowledge window (h) "Rare Fish" (affected by "Maple Float") "Big Fish" (affected by "Ash Tree Float" ) and "Prize Catch" (affected by fishing mastery). having a float equipped does not change your chance to get the prize catch fishes, as this is rolled first. "big fish" does not mean bigger fishes. it's a refference to the "Big Fish" group in the knowledge window. you get the chair from crio and liana (the life skill quest npc in every city) all this information can be viewed if you press F1 "Advanced Fishing Guide" ingame.
that's not what inferred empirically from manual testing, someone kept track for all 5600 red fish caught in CC and by using float the chance is indeed lesser than what it shall be

Also this guide is old and inaccurate. it states "The content of the game guide may differ from the actual game content".

I think active fishing should work different than afk, even give higher change to catch prize/orange fish while active fishing, so make more $/h
