I ordered the adapter from GM and they sent me the official Tesla one. Worked well with my Bolt EUV. But I’m more interested in using it on our Nissan Ariya once they open it up for those cars
Ya I was waiting and waiting for that, I'm really surprised they are making the LEAFs still with the CHADeMO plug. I will make sure I to be checking the public charging wherever I go in my CCS car!! so far most places have both plugs! My parents haven't gotten an adapter from GM they don't give anything out, they added it to their CHEVY APP so they can purchase it!! LOL 🙄 ohhh GM. Thanks for watching!!🫶🏻
Not cheap, but it's good to dry run the experience. I did the same thing with my Bolt and my daughters Bolt. If you would supercharge more than 2-3 times per month, it would be worth getting the membership for $12.99/mo. You can hop on for road trips, then hop off when you get back home. Ditto for Electrify America.
@@misterg4059 haha!! I come from driving a leaf, I'd wait 2hrs before because I arrived at zero miles and zero range!! LOL!! I don't mind waiting, knowing I can breathe easier!! 🫶 Thanks for watching!!
@@carolinebray82 I leased my first Leaf September 2012 and mainly used it for local driving. And in those days DC charging was only available at Nissan dealerships😂 EVs have come a long way but they need to charge faster for most people to get one.
@@misterg4059 Most 800V EV's (including Chevy vehicles)) charge at double that speeds and have much longer charging curves. Even much cheaper Ioniq 5 and 6 charge at 240kW and take less than 20 minutes to charge to 80%.
I like your Smegle impression "Precious, precious" at the end. Congratulations!! I still can't charge my Ioniq6 at Tesla Superchargers.
Fun to see more EVs using the Superchargers! Here’s to more fun road trips!

You can also get cheaper rates at other times of the day on most urban Supercharger locations, so it's cheaper after, or before, certain hours.
Glad to see you've come over to the dark side with Tesla charging...welcome to the family!
@@justsomeguy934 lol 😂 thanks watching !
How long did it take?
4:15 of the video I posted the screenshot from the charging app... 38mins! 😁Thanks for watching.
@ that’s still a long time to wait when on a road trip, if they can get it to 10-15 minutes it would be awesome
