Return of Samus was soundtrack was limited, but it was so good. I still get hyped with the Queen Metroid battle, The Victory Lap to the Ship, and The Credits songs.
This takes me back to the moment I first beat Metroid II on Gameboy. The adult Metroids are all defeated, the baby Metroid is safe in the ship, and Samus and the baby Metroid lived happily ever after. Yep, not going to let the events of later Metroid games spoil that happy ending.

You really honed in on what makes this music work and adapted it beautifully to the these instruments. I feel like so many covers lose focus on the heart of Metroid 2 end theme. But this ... this is what I've been looking for.
I just got slapped in the face with nostalgia! Even though Metroid is my favorite franchise, Return Of Samus is the one I played the least. But man, this took me back to when I was 10 and beat the game for the first time. That triumphant "you did it!" feeling this song has, you captured it. Kudos man, not many people do Metroid 2 stuff!
The 5 String Tenor Banjo is tuned like a 5 String Violin but an Octave lower (that's C, G, D, A, E) so it has quite a fun range. Lots of companies should expand their catalog with 5 String Tenor Banjos because of their versatility. It's played with a Pick, any Guitar pick will work
It all sounds great as usual, good sir. Also, the phaser really plays well into the Metroid soundscape:) I really enjoyed the little touch that added:)
