Preserving Ifugao culture, one class at a time

The government should give subsidies to the Ifugaos so that they will have an incentive to stay and continue farming the rice terraces. If no one wants to work there anymore because of the backbreaking work and low income, we will lose our national treasure.

Agreed, I'm reminded if a similar issue in the United States where the government made aggressive moves and incentives to support their farmers so it continues to be a profitable industry
