I’ve owned my ‘94 since 2007 and it had 21000 miles on it. It now has over 53,000 miles on it and has been to Daytona beech, and the Dragon. It was all black when bought in stock form. I changed the color to Corvette 50 th anniversary Ruby red tri- coat with new Magna logos embedded in the clear as the original. I also painted the engine faux air fins to match along with the inside of the wheels after polishing them to a high gloss. I’ve added a Mustang seat and saddlebags along with a windshield. I too pulled the carbs and added a Dave Dodge carb kit to get rid of the midrange flat spot in throttle response. That really worked! I also removed the yellowed clear coat from the front forks and then polished them as well. I also replaced the front brake hose with a stainless steel one and that improved my braking. I have yet to find an other bike to replace it with. I also have a Honda CTX1300A for long hauls, I still prefer the Magna for back road fun. I’ve blown a few Harleys off the road as well, along with a VTX1800. The third gen Magna is a Great bike to have and ride. Only issue I’ve had was the voltage regulator/ rectifier died due to age. I use only full synthetic oil in mine. She is definitely a keeper. I’ve never owned a bike as long as this one before. Just can’t find something that fits me better and performs better than the Magna.

Shadows are awesome bikes too. My first ever cruiser was a shadow and it never once left me stranded.

I got a 98 black one few months ago,
Thing flies, I often see guys promoting it as a started bike , in a way i guess it is . But with the weight and acceleration. I won’t recommend it to someone who was starting out,
It is fun tho when you wind it past 6k revs .

@@frankharkin3601 yeah if this was my first bike I would’ve gotten in a lot of trouble. Not to say that I didn’t anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️ but I would definitely agree. The back tire can lose traction too with all that power especially on slick roads!

I picked up a 94 with only 6,600 miles a few months back. I love how it looks and rides but all the wind at higher speeds for long distances does make it less enjoyable tho. Ive been looking at windshields but like you said, hate the way it looks on it.

Streetshield looks good...its medium sport size....does good job

The reason for the power is cuz of four cylinders. Completely different than a twin.

Once you get used to a quad, you can never be happy with a twin

i bought an ugly one for $1250...i should have just paid more, like $3500, for one in really good condition
