The blue i usually have on my pallet (with acrylics from Michael's art store) are Ultramarine blue Prussian/Indanthrone blue Phthalo blue Ultramarine for sky's and violets Prussian/Indanthrone for darks Phthalo for water
A beautiful demonstration, thank you Old Holland! 🔹🩵🔹 Personally I feel a preference for the Scheveningen Blue for its clean and bright hue; as you say a more green based blue, which I personally would find more useful on my own palette of colours. Beautiful, thank you very much for providing these most inspiring Artists' oil colours! 👏🏼✨🥇✨😃
For those who dont know, kings blue light and deep is ultramarine blue and scheveningen blue light is scheveningen blue and white Ultramarine blue is a synthetic version of the rare and expensive historic lapis lazuli Scheveningen blue is a modern synthetic color and is normally called phthalo blue or "brand name" blue Kings blue light/deep leans twords red/violet because of the ultramarine (warm blue) Schevengen blue light leans twords green/turquoise because of the schevevingen blue Ultramarine blue: PB29 Scheveningen blue: PB15/16 I hope this information helps. Thank you
@@oldhollandclassiccolours2759quick question If I try y'all's paints and like them, could y'all and I do a conversation with some businesses about a custom set(s) with y'all, but my selection of colors? I think that would be cool But I'm not telling y'all what to do. The main reason I am asking is because when I start to teach, they will be able to buy my selection of colors instead of several colors and being confused
