Reply to this and let me know you’ve shared this episode to your social media. I’d be hugely grateful Thank you
I'll share this after I watch this video! 👍
@@FalcomScott312 Thanks Falcom
sorry wrong thread
Done!
@TheGebs24 You're welcome, Gem & I shared this video already!
I'm not going to take anything away from collectors...but 1000+ for a sealed something that sits on your shelf is nuts
Retro Ghetto was there the other day, those snes prices were crazy even for mint! I had the Australian and European small box super Metroid (both good condition) sold them on eBay and bought the mega rare Nintendo classics super Metroid UKV in very good condition with manual never seen another one as most people think the Uk only got the big box of super Metroid, which is the common version!
Monstrous prices for some colourful 'mint' packaging...
SNES was the first system I bought with my own money and I took it to Uni with me. Good times... good times. Thanks for a really fun post.
I LOVE the SNES. What’s your fave game?
Get Gaming is an awesome little store & it was lovely meeting you in there. So many things I would of wanted to speak/ask you about but didn't wanna disturb you while recording. Loving the content as always!
i love your collection!!! its uber "lush" as you so put it!! i hope you get all that yuh need to make it up to par with your own feeling on it!! love the show lots!!! take care and stay safe!!!
I didn't understand why collecting these games with such high demand, but I spent every year in and out of a hospital with super Mario that the nurses would bring. I'd love to display a sealed copy, or some collectors edition of games that hold meaning like that. So every person has a reason, and if these were affordable, more could end up lost to time, than being cared for properly.
Joypad joy and toys is another good shop worth checking out also, only down the road from here, jay is a mega sound bloke.
Just found your channel! So happy to discover such a positive and exciting content creator!
Very nice PS4 collection. My favorite console 😊😊
Nothing like finding a good hole in the wall shop to find Retro treasures in!
Truly epic dude
I feel very conflicted with the retro gaming market right now. It's great to see the titles again and the happiness it brings to you (in particular), Gemma. However, the pricing is getting more and more ridiculous. The only people who can own the rarer titles now are the ones who can afford to take a massive disposable income hit and that's not great.
That Killer Instinct brings back memories playing with my brothers. We only had a few snes games and it was that revolution x, Megaman x, Indiana jones greatest adventures, super Mario world and some desert storm game I can't remember the name of. But good memories.
Do you know a good site to get those plastic cases. I need them badly since I have 3dogs that shed
HAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAA
What a store. Some of those SNES games were to die for. As a Super Famicom collector shame the selection was small but hey it is what it is. Also Gameboy selection looked nice too. Look forward to Thursday Gebs 🤙
Thursday’s episode is in another BRAND NEW store
Have you come across any stores with auto modellista sealed
Hello Gebbs, Happy Monday😊Yet another fantastic video & all them Snes games look absolutely amazing & in tip top condition but the price range for me is far too expensive, Also there's other good games like Megadrive, Master System & much more, This is such a good store😊❤️🎮🕹🎮🕹
The 16bit era is the best
Very nice episode Gemma!!! And that is a great looking store packed with goodies ❤
What would you have brought?
I did sell my big box earthbound £1500, just thought what the hell, i brought a small box repro instead. Rpg games were my go to games in the 90s. Normal games did not bother with much
Those Turtle figures look so cute & pretty cool😎🐢🐢🐢🐢
Hey Gemma, where I live there is a full size Lara Croft statue for sale in an art gallery! Not sure of the price as only ever driven past
Nice
This new game shop here in UK looks so bloody awesome here! Too bad some of the SNES games in that glass case there where so out of my price range! Thanks for sharing Gem & how do you feel about that new MGS: Delta trailer from Konami? 🤔
Think this shop has been around a while. I often see them at the markets.
Just subscribed, this is an amazing video. I’m gonna go check out this place it’s only 40 mins away! Thanks for showcasing it.
You are so welcome. Let me know what you get :)
@@TheGebs24 will do
Was watching and saw you have your PS4 games on the shelf Horizontally and Xbox and Switch Vertically, and you said you was thinking of doing Xbox like PS4. Which got me thinking, if you did the Switch games like the PS4 games maybe you wouldn't have to double stack them since their smaller cases than PS4 and Xbox? Anywho, great video Gemma!
Hi where did you get your mini screens displaying the games from in your room they are really cool
If you're talking about her pixel panels with the moving game art, she's mentioned they're from Super Game Shack in Leicester.
Very nice n64 games that i never seen in the wild wow . I saw resident evil N64 which i recently picked up myself through selling alot of unwanted retro of mine and i got something ive always wanted .😊 Been playing it and nearly completed .
You should see Thursday’s episode 😱😱😱😱
I watched that one to was great. So many nice things I spotted.
Do you see alot of the AUS versions of games over there? We definitely have alot of the UKV imports over here 😂
And yet not a single game store anywhere near where I live
Same, only one near me just sells new games and just disc based games which are not for me.
Besides in past ive found they are either more expensive than if you look on ebay or maybe same price
Plus i get nectar points shopping on ebay which goes to buying something extra. Never get bargains in these places thats why for me carboots, 2nd handshops and even odd times on ebay and fb market place are way better
There’s loads in the Midlands. Keep an eye for upcoming episodes.
What area of the UK are you?
@@TheGebs24 Totally different country :)
@@TheGebs24is their quite a few in the Midlands, I'm based in London and game stores do feel few and far between down here I'd be interested to know of these other gamestores. It's very much appreciated and once again your hard work long may it continue and your content is amazing 🙏🌟😎♥️
I'm in same boat my nearest is a 2 hour drive
Love you gorgeous Gem ❤
Are you re thinking about you're gamepass subscription after the showcase?
YES. 🤣🤣 You?
@@TheGebs24 i have it already, was very happy with the showcase, only game missing for me was Replaced
Next time you’re near Swindon you should check out the retro game shop in holmes music shop in the town enter
I’d arranged to go there but the owner asked me to hold off due to a family issue
@@TheGebs24 ah I see, hope it’s not serious good guy he is
I was at Retro Games HQ on Saturday. Great shop and the owner was super helpful. There’s a car park directly behind the shop and a coffee shop a couple of doors down. They are at the back of a music shop there’s instruments and vinyl in there too. The upstairs has arcade machines and a boat load on Nintendo.
I left with 4 360 games for the collection and a loose Nintendo DS cart also.
I wish there was some retro gams shops near me. I'd have to drive miles tonget to one
Gosh the prices pretty sure they will be in the cabinets for a long time. The prices on games that are total crap too is hilarious...more so when people know they are crap games but get them anyway
You’d be surprised
I tell you what though that sealed Killer Instinct. I am that idiot that would seriously consider....😂
I would sale all my body parts to own some of those games haha.
That was not fire emblem it was the fireman. A Japanese and pal only release. Rare. Very rare.
I literally put that on the screen in the edit 🤣🤣🤣
Cracking game Firemen have it on Super Famicom 😃
@@TheGebs24 I was busy typing. Lol. It's a great gauntlet style put the fire out game.
I've got the sequel for my ps1, Japanese only release that one, fantastic game!!
Wow, Wolfenstein 3D
Absolutely love these videos, but a lot of them
Games crazy crazy prices , nobody gonna pay that , hence why not many these shops exist anymore ,
Keep up great work
Thank you Gav
Some of those snes games were crazy priced.
High end collectors pieces mate
Crazy prices these days 💯
At 4:10, very nice Killzone 3-Helghast Edition. I have that. Not sealed anymore, of course. But, still complete with Box and everything.🥰
I wish Sony would give this IP to somebody else. Killzone-Shadow Fall was such a disappointment. Amazing graphics, yes. But the singleplayer story was absolutly nonsensically bonkers, and the multiplayer felt stiff and uninspired.
As if Guerilla Games could not get ridd of this IP fast enough.😢
awesome video gemma!!!!!
house insurance must be crazy
Do you still stream on twitch cos I've not seen you in ages
I stream on Kick now. Link in the description
Not being funny but whos paying £600 for r-type? I could understand the pricing if there was literally no other way to play it, but you're paying £600 for a box that you can make yourself out of a cereal box. Pricing is just ridiculously stupid with retro games nowadays.
Especially pal games are running at 50 hz makes no sense….download the rom play on a fpga console via hdmi is the best way rather than collecting a tonne of expensive clutter
I’ve since learnt that a lot of the games have now been sold 💪
pricecharting makes the prices up and everyone follows them, its hilarious
I bought rtype 3 from HMV in Liverpool when it came out. Was only £17.99! Then I virtually gave it away in 1996. 🤦♂️
@@andrewbutler9533 I gave away my snes had super bomberman 3, super street fighter 2 and few others…. Or traded in multiple games just to get used copies of used ps1 games. There was a time that snes was worthless . 😅 I am all up for games preservation and remembering them. Always am up for another round of super street fighter 2 but as much as retro game collecting is cool and all you can’t take this stuff with you to after life. Don’t want to rattle any cages but having a whole snes library on a SD card and playing it on a device with good emulation or fpga is the way forward. 🤣
were is this shop located
The link to the shop is in the description
@@TheGebs24 sorry but there are dozens of links and I also can't find the info the OP asked for. Would be great if you highlighted relevant info for this vid

I love Metroid, but that's a hard pill to swallow 😆😆😆
The small box is rare but I’m nit a huge Metroid fan and I wasn’t going to drop 1K on it. Someone out there will

Killer instinct, secret of mana and super Metroid four of my favourites from the SNES days
♥️🌟
No, Zelda was not factory sealed. Just Killer Instinct
@@TheGebs24 ah okay still amazing to see it looks exactly like the shelves I used to see in Dixon's back in 1991 with the SNES games on the shelves, great memories ringing Nintendo hotline for link to the past stuck on crystal 6 great times indeed ♥️🌟.
Well done on a another amazing find 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
