1:55 Yep exactly how I felt with Ocarina of time/MM 3D, Fable Anniversary and Wild Arms Alter Code F. Whenever I go back to any of them for a playthrough it's always on the originals.
I sort of remember a couple "comic books" coming out like that back in the day... where you collected a bunch of cards and put them in the binder to build the comic and then you could read it. Plasm was a title I definitely remember.
The first time I went to Entertainment World was in 2008, I was hunting for a copy of Super Mario World. it took me three hours to find the store because I didn't know the area at all. Because I'd made the effort to find the place, Rob broke a copy of the game out of a boxed SNES and then let me look at stuff in the back that wasn't on the shop floor yet. The shop has really evolved and expanded since then, the quantity of stock is awesome and there's a great stock of vinyl too. I go in whenever I can and usually come out with something cool. They're always friendly in there and willing to cut a fair deal.
I had a Sony recordable mini disc player. It's unfortunate that format was so short lived. Mine died back in the mid 2010's. I had most of those sticker books including wwf and street fighter 2. I still have my TMNT sticker book aswell. I don't know if you remember them but I still have the full collection of the Batman 1989 collectable cards which is one of my pride and joy.
Nice video. Factory sealed games should be kept in the factory seal in my opinion, then the customer can experience the brand new game unboxing, being the first one to open the game :) I don't have any sealed games myself, but kept the original plastic wrap around Amiga OutRun game when I bought it new in the 90's, I just cut it just enough so i could get the disk inside the cardboard box to play the game. The wrap has original price tag as well from department store chain which is now long gone. After all these years, the wrap has of course dried and it's quite fragile, but it has done it's job to protect the cardboard box and keep it looking like new :) My yesterday visit to local flea market also failed in videogame front, but ended well for my other hobby, model cars, as I found two rather nice models I didn't even know about before. Two 90's Toyota cars, a 1994 Celica GT-Four and Supra from same era, in 1/72 scale by Real-X brand. Both cars that I've played a lot in Gran Turismo and Forza games, so there's the videogame connection to them :D
I'd say keep them games sealed. There is nothing worse than a Gamestore opening up sealed games in order to sell them. Grading them in a fools errand however, as grading is one big scam.
I am glad that you have bought Amazing Spider-Man on Mega CD. I have seen a Dreamcast Console in your video. If was walking in this games store. I would buy that Dreamcast.
I thought you would buy it. My bad. BTW; Medieval is awesome. I played the game years ago. In the Netherlands we also have game stores with Retro games. My nephew found Marvel Vs Capcom 1 for the PS1. Grt. Gamen met Rea(channel)
Now is Days Gone I love the whole gameplay and story of it and from the older games my favourite is The legend of Zelda link to the past loved playing that as a kid and I still play it now and again

@@TheGebs24 you're like if Lara Croft was a video game collector
That TMNT sticker book is Nostalgia overload, I still have my Street Fighter 2 Sticker Book from waaaay back when! love it
Needless to say, I was pretty stoked when I found it 😍😍
I completed the masters of the universe and Transformers panini books back in the day. Still have the transformers one it's one of my treasures .

Thanks for the sub! And I agree about the border 😄😄
3:30 - Oh wow! I had Blue Shadow on the NES back in the early 90's. I loved that game. The nostalgia 😍
I’ll add it to my list to get. Do you own it?
@@TheGebs24 Sadly no longer, along with my NES, Sega Megadrive, Amstrad CPC464, Atari 2600 and Atari 800XL. All lost in the mists of time somewhere 😭

@@TheGebs24 unfortunately not. Around 70 to 80% complete. But I have been looking around on ebay to try and complete it
What an amazing place listen. We need to hit this place and the one far up north brev 😜❤️❤️
Roger that 🫡 🤘😉❤️❤️
i felt the same way about the Secret of Mana remake, so totally get it with the Medievil thing.
I’m so glad it’s not just me 🫣
Have both Medievil games, love them both. I didn't mind the remake, not as good as the original but not too bad
I love it when a plan doesn't come together. :D

Ooh loved care bears when I was a kid. Still watch the movie occasionally
I have the bed spread, head board and wallpaper as a little girl. Loved it
