Awesome! Loads of stuff that brought a smile to my face here. We had an Amstrad PCP (128k power!) and I remember the adverts for Barbarian and really wanting to play it! And obvs had that red silly driving game toy thing 😊
I definitely need to make a pilgrimage to Tewkesbury next time I'm in the UK. This guy's clearly passionate about his wares and running a decent and fair shop. Love the cameo!
Thank you, I was looking for this comment! I also had this CD and I was pretty certain it came from ONM (or NOM) so it’s nice that someone corroborated that! Loved this CD. The Smash symphony one was amazing too, highly recommend finding that one if you’ve never had it.
The Game Boy Pokemon games seem way overpriced, but that's probably with collectors in the market just buying them as investments rather than people buying them to play them for nostalgia purposes. I mean I've still got my copy of red, and my brother still has his copy of yellow/pikachu (although only the cart, no manual or box). He MIGHT still have his copy of blue from back then too. Same with a lot of the PC/MS-DOS games at 1:39, but that's probably because their all "big-box" versions. I mean if you just want to PLAY some of those, rather than physically own them, you can get them cheap on GOG/Steam.
Wow a Renault GTA tucked away !. I used to have a GTA V6 Turbo, they are amazing cars. Really miss mine, used it as a daily driver for 5 years and it never let me down. Just regular servicing every year.
That was the coolest retro shop I've seen anywhere, and I've seen a lot 😎 BTW shoutout to Elliot popping in to say hi halfway through the video, absolutely amazing to see 2 retro channels bond 😀 🙌
@@PeaceBeTheJourney. ooh id never get the husband to leave! Unfortunately we don’t have time to go that far north (staying South) but it’s on the cards for next trip!
Holy shit, I had that Turtles card games as a child. I had completely forgotten about it, and seeing it gave me such a nostalgic rush! I’ll have to check if it still exists in my parents’ storage.
Fun fact they had to change the original shot of Maria Whittaker and the Wolf for WHSmiths for The Barbarian game as they wouldn't sell the game with Maria Whittaker on it. So you will find some Barbarian games with just the Wolf posing by himself. Also the Wolf wasn't that recognised back then as he didn't do Gladiators till later where he got the name The Wolf.

She's still beautiful now. Kids use to rave for The Barbarian just because she was on the front of the cassette. She's my favourite Page 3 girl from The Sun as well as Linda Lusardi. There's actual footage of Maria Whittaker and the Wolf modeling for the pictures of this game on youtube but unfortunately can't seem to remember on who's platform.
Forget Wolf on the poster...what about Maria Whittiker? Seeing as it's retro related, she also happens to be married to Rebel MC. Cool place...I'm sorely tempted by that Astro Wars.
Wicked episode Brandon 🎉 Would love to visit this place...2.5 hours drive for me though. Maybe I'll turn it into a holiday 😂 Also, great Sonic Game Gear pick up (although it'd irk me somewhat to have an outlier NTSC copy sat on my shelf 😅)!
Tobal No. 1 is a PlayStation fighting game, the interesting thing is the character designs are by the late Akira Toriyama (best known for Dragon Ball). This looks like a great place to empty my bank account!
My stickers can usually be easily removed with little more than blowing warm air over them and peeling off. If the items are delicate I usually bag them or don't put the price on it, but in the shelf / next to it instead.

Big Tech companies are shitting down WEB2.0 applications and softwares. Giving room for more businesses to be their own tech company is too priority. If you have the knowledge of coding, then applying that to their open source softwares shouldn’t be a problem since you still on that technology. It would mean GPL and MIT licenses can be open to the public now for people to publish their own versions of what they have bought with their own money.

This video has unlocked so many core memories for me. Crazy how much I recognise and remember from my childhood, over 35 years ago!
what an awesome show! I loved the passion the guy running the store has for each and every item no matter what it is.
What a nice guy running it. He seems to have real passion
Indeed he does.
