I tried for months to pass an eval with ES and kept failing. I passed 1st try after I switched to only trading NQ instead. What you trade has to fit HOW you trade. ES did not fit for me and what I wanted out of it. I always stayed away from NQ because how scary people make it out to be. My trades are so fast and scalpy, NQ works great for me. I put a stop at 5 points because with my entries, that's enough room to tell if I'm wrong. I have been faked out occasionally, but then re-entered quickly afterwards for the move that I was expecting. Another thing I've worked on is to actually wait for signs that the move is going to happen and then react, instead of trying to predict what I think it should do at a certain level. I've also started to multiply profits by using more accounts with a group trader, instead of over sizing on 1 account. I will always enter with only 1 NQ contract. When the move starts working, I'll look for a good spot to enter 1 more contract. And that's it. 1 or 2 NQ contracts. I've now passed 2 and #3 is on the way to be passed early this week. Have not had a red day, and only a couple of red trades in the past 3 weeks since switching to NQ. Just wanted to share my current situation and thoughts in case someone else can relate and wants to try similar things.

Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest

You mentioned to not hesitate, but I don't know if this counts as hesitation, but it does skew my RR a bit Basically, I trade by the motto "react, don't predict" so I may have thoughts on what's about to happen and it could give me a better entry, but instead I wait for a good close on the candle then jump in, which improves my win rate by a lot

Unfortunately I work construction in So California and I am at work everyday at 5:45 am so my work day completely encompasses regular market hours. I am always busy while I'm working which makes it very difficult to trade but I still study you material that you both provide. Vince has a great community even though I'm not able to join often because of my work situation Its great to learn from the commentary and reasoning that Vince provides when I do.
