Fire vid Carmine!! I highly reccomend the course for anyone that wants to genuinely learn. It took my trading as well as my psycology to the next level needed to start being profitable. The content is honestly unrivaled, everyone in the discord is happy to help including myself. Carmine and Dylan I'm seriously grateful for all you do and to be part of the investitrade fam. Thanks!!

@Nadatoprada, can you use the what you learn from the course on small cap stocks? Or only big caps stocks and only stock options.
P.S Thinking of buying the course, new to trading.

If you are just finding Carmines videos you need to know he's the real deal. You are not gonna find shortcuts or some kind of magic to trading here. Him and Dylan teach you the right way to trade, read the market, handle your emotions, etc. If you are willing to learn this is the place. Look im almost twice as old as these guys, in the construction trades, have a family, make a good living, and need to support my family. I can't risk money like I could when I was younger, at home, no family. Learning risk management and handling emotions is probably the most important part of trading for me. Carmines TH-cam channel, instagram, discord all help so much with learning this stuff. Im extremely grateful for finding him and his community. Thank you Carmine and Dylan.

I've got to say we all go through the dark times in this business. I can't tell you how many days I've cried hysterically. Felt like a failure, a loser, couldn't do anything right. And I even asked God why he hated me 😂 I laugh now but at the times it's happened the pain was so intense. I asked myself why on earth I do this every single day. Because I knew there's a right way to do it. I knew on my most painful days it was because of my own poor market choices and it was just a matter of training myself and my mind to do it the right way. And slowly but surely the scale is tipping and I believe those days are over as I'm learning to manage my positions and keep my emotions at bay as a result. This is a process. An excruciating., long process but once you get through that dark tunnel there really is sunshine on the end of it. Keep going!

Amen. Inspiring … I struggled with discipline this year. So many distractions. I didn’t have a steady income, i got into a relationship hastily without prudence, lack of purpose. My emotions were just scattered all around. But after watching this, I need to regain focus, purpose, discipline, journal, practice charting, read psychology, prepare before market open, and focus on execution during market open. I know what I need to do, I just need to do it now.

Wow, now this is like a Christmas present from Carmine. I was always interested in learning about your trading journey. I learned a lot about market context this year; market profile, volume profile, how to understand and use order flow, and how not only are the markets an auction, but that the markets are a mirror for human psychology. I'm still growing on my journey and intend to be here for a long time. Thanks for all of your support and valuable content you provide. Wish you continued success and prosperity, Carmine.

Fantastic story and journey man! Incredible inspiring. Have gone from doing exactly like u trying every indicator in the game and jumping from strategy to strategy.. have now laser focused on auction market theory/ volume profile together with supply and demand, and using bookmap to cut down my risk and following ES futures bookmap daily ONLY for almost a year now and finally starting to turn the tanker around to break even / slight small profits.
Also big on the journaling and doing what u said with reviewing every trade after the close keeping some stats on R/R and other things.
Man it is hard work tho and mentally draining... Keep grinding 🙏❤️

Great video, new to the channel. I am about to be laid off work end of next month. Feel this is the perfect time to start my day trading career. Understand "9 out of 10" day traders fail. So I understand the hill/journey in front of me I'm not in denial. I appreciate this video and your humility to discuss your setbacks. I paper trade set up charts/trade fairly well I think....One thing I don't do never have done is journal. I understand the importance in it just no clue. Camrine do you have a video on beginner journal techniques and strategies? Could you make one to emulate as a starting point?
    Once again great informative videos.
    Thanks

Thank you your post Carmine! What a valuable story for the beginners. Unfortunately beginers will do most of the same mistakes because they have to be burn themselves to even consider the learning process differently, ie. understanding the advices from the experienced traders. Without the battle scars ego will always win, advices, studies are in the bin. This is life, this never change. What I would like to highlite from your example is the dedication, the focus on the subject. The dedication was so powefull you changed your lifestyle completely. This is what all the beginners or strugglers - like me - should think about. Eliminating all the distractions to focus on to do the process and learning within a tight daily schedule day by day. Ask yourself: can I do the same or very similiar? One thing I am sure: as Carmine told us there is no shortcuts to reach the goal, only the hard work. Time to retink the new year wishes. 😀

This is awesome to hear and extremely informative, I have been trading on and off for around 2 years before I came across your TH-cam channel. I went through all the loses and trader emotional rollercoaster you mentioned. After joining your community, and daily reading your pre-market plans, intra-day commentary, answering Q&A from other users, hopping on voice every now and then, shadowing you and Dylan I slowly started crawling back out of the hole. I am not where I want to be at as a trader, but like you said it is a forever evolving journey. I am just immensely grateful I came across your TH-cam channel, and being apart of your community. Happy holidays and happy early New Year thank you for everything you do 🙏

This was a great video to see as I truly am one that can relate to the story. I’m in college and am struggling my way through bc I’m really focusing on trading as it is really is something that I want to pursue. I have asked my parents if I can drop out and they were totally against it for me. I am coming up on the start of my third year of trading and my last semester of college, and although I don’t see much improvement on my p/l yet, I feel that my psychology is honing into a mindset of profitability soon. The student debt that has been piled on me over these past couple of years is a little overwhelming, but I know that my profitability will come and I can begin to start paying it off fairly soon.
Carmine, I deeply thank you for sharing your story here. Seeing stuff like this makes me want to grind even harder🔥

  • @Moronical
    @Moronical ปีที่แล้ว +1

Really great stuff, thank you. I am at the bottom of my pit right now and this really helped. I feel like after two years of trading I would be better but I STILL see my faults and after a day of losses I talk to myself and say “you know better than that” but those emotions when you are in the trade, especially when you feel like you can’t get out because you have no money to trade with left because of the PDT rule, you start to think “well i will just let it play out, it still has time to reverse” and it never does. I know looking at the charts, the past days it had the same set up, it’s not changing, but I still sometimes wait anyway instead of getting out right away, then what happens? Larger losses of course. Tuesday it starts all over but different this time. I HAVE to be successful with this. I absolutely love trading and am very passionate about it and will make it work.

Same here thankfully I didn't blow my entire account. I literally told myself I would avoid trading that day to avoid that happening but oh well. You live and you learn. I've only been trading 3 months. I made small smart plays pretty consistently then get about 300 in my account and get 2 greedy. We can and will make a come back. The mistakes make you stronger. Family who had experience, going to wall street, time and a lot of it to really dive into the stock market and charts, and monitors (I’m still stuck on cellphone 😅). My problem is that, at my age, I have capital from all the years working 75+ hours a week since my college days, and I have lost ALOT of money trying to hit home runs with no proven strategy. I still am not profitable, and I seem to be where you were at the beginning of your journey. I really need to figure this out as I can't take such losses. You're a young inspiration for anybody. I am 49. I'm a teacher that retires in 5 years. Beginning in 2020, I took a stock investing class, and the summer of 2021, I took an options class. I am just now in 2023 just kind of. getting it. I missed all the the gains that created millionaires during the pandemic. I have 5 years to become a proficient trader. I believe I can do it. I'll start small this year. Great video! I'm thinking about grabbing your course. Can these strategies be applied to any trading platform? I use NinjaTrader to just trade the S&P eminis and there are no special indicators I'll have to download and import right?. Been around this business for a long time and still don't have a year where I've been profitable... Seems like your course is simple in design but massive in content. Thanks for sharing your story. Truly appreciate it. I'm early in my trading journey and am going to the struggles that you went through in 2016. I'm refining my process and need to do a better job with my journalling. Just curious if there's a software you use to track your trades? Thanks again for your time to answer my question. Have a Merry Christmas!

Very Merry Christmas to everyone 🎄
I have to say I AGREED with what you said 100%.
I have lost a lot of money due to those conditions that you listed out. I however don’t give up with my current little capital. I started implementing price and demand methods that you advise along with cradle sticks; it’s working but I have to be more discipline. Pray to the Lord to save my capital so I can gain back what I have lost.
I truly appreciate the time you put on educated videos.
    God bless you 🙏🏻

Really appreciate this video Carmine! The struggles at the beginning of your journey sounded like you were reading my mind. I've been putting off journaling for so long thinking I could do without it. It starts tomorrow. Like you said at the end, "Focus on the process, the profits are a by-product". I hope one day to make a similar video and shout you out in my turning point. Keep it up my guy!

Im at that turning point/ space in my trading, all the peices are finally coming together- just need to keep grinding it out everyday.
Keep having a plethora of minor setbacks along the way that have been like a 1000 paper cuts - but the way I see if - bring it on, lemme deal with all of them now so it wont be an issue later.
Thank you for the vid - i been in a funky mood last few day and this helped.

Based on your story I know where I stand in my trading journey. You identified key mistakes that I am making. I know what I have to work on now to flip the switch. I am so close to that final breakthrough and becoming consistently profitable.

I’ve found in uptrends buying weekly options when quadruple bullish divergence on the 1 hour or bullish divergence on the 1 day, has worked 90% of the time. Then the opposite during a downtrend.
