N'zoth has been present since 8.0. Shrine of the storms and Zek'voz in Uldir were connected to N'zoth influence. He has 3 raids: CoS, TEP and nyalotha. Bfa is his expansion period
Battle for Azeroth is without a doubt N'Zoth's expansion, it's still a shame we haven't had a Black Empire expansion. It's still possible. The ninth expansion should absolutely be a Black Empire expansion.
These might be some of the best tracks WoW has put out so far. Seriously, the game does so well in terms of immersive arts. The game design just doesn't do it justice. Over the years the art style and music have evolved to be amazing but the gameplay feels like it's far behind in terms of innovation. World quests, mission table, power & rep grind.. come on Blizzard, don't be afraid to revamp the system.

Things like artifact weapons and azerite certainly DO give you a feeling of getting stronger and progressing but after a certain point it just feels like a mandatory chore. I suppose you could make the argument that MMORPGs are just that way and there's nothing you can do about it, and this recurring thrope where you have to grind a power, rep or resource isn't a new concept at all - but there are many ways to regulate just how grindy this system feels. Maybe, and just maybe, there's no need to have a grind mechanic like azerite where at a certain point you *need* to consistently farm it and do world quests + other tasks the game obligates you to complete. Isn't player freedom the whole point of an RPG? Successful games like Skyrim and Witcher (particularly 3) are a perfect example of just how flexible a game can be in terms of casual - serious gameplay and how YOU get to adjust the bracket of how much you want to grind and work for something. I'm gonna try to avoid taking a detour here. To summarize my point, I would just love to see a system where someone can work as hard as they want to without feeling like they're lagging behind or their character is just not 'viable'. The hardcore mindset is healthy for every game. It keeps them alive and moving with players that want to keep progressing as hard as possible, but is it really necessary to hook a player to certain tasks to keep them subscribed? That's pretty much the recipe for a burnout and we've seen it more than just a few times with WoW. Agreed. They should have stopped churning out expansions after Legion (where most of the important plot threads set into motion by WC3 were wrapped up) and taken the time to make WoW 2. A modern MMORPG that could blow everyone's minds again. But from the looks of things, they are going to keep milking the same model for as long as there are fools willing to pay a monthly subscription for it.
There's about 5 versions in-game of the badass Black Emperor theme 56:26 (only plays in the Horrific Vision staging room and on Wrathion in the raid). Only 2 versions have full instrumentation; of those 2, the one in this compilation is the best cuz it's got full brass section with horns and trumpets layered on top. I just wish Blizz would release the full score someday; there's no way a full orchestral piece was written to be 1 min long and it fades out, so there's def more to that bit.

AH40 music was much more climatic, but this still is great, i like bit in the background that aren't usualy used in wow, especialy mixed with orchestra and choir, it is strangly fitting to strange stuff that its taking place in Ny'alotha.

Argus should not have been an expansion, people would have been sick of the fel green before 7.1, you cant add a town a friendly villagers to the homeplanet of the legion and you wont get a expansion where everyone is hostile.
I honestly expected Legion to be the second to last Burning Legion expansion. I expected another Legion expansion in ten years, or so. When I heard we were going to Argus, I began to piece together, this is it. The Burning Legion's influence will still be a factor in the future, though. There are still many many demons.

I dont think there will be another "legion" invasion in the future that would be focused on destroying Azeroth. Unless Sargeras free's himself from Pantheon and starts a new Burning Crusade
Imo this soundtrack should be more horryfing, like you are entering Waking City, where madness wants to consume you at every step. In Ulduar soundtrack we had an perfect example of pure madness. Here in Ny'alotha we have a soundtrack which is similar to Warolds of Dreanor or something. A little bit of madness and hopelessness would be Perfect. I personally don't feel those emotions in the music. Location is awesome and creepy, but the music is not comparing to Ny'alotha

I think we'll see a huge time skip in 10.0 and find that N'Zoth wasn't completely destroyed. I have a theory on how he will come back and who will be the one to bring him back. Hint she is not what she was when we first encountered her.
For me, I love the first 20 min. We always get loud bombastic stuff, but this kind of slow creeping stuff with unique synth instrumentation is rare and I love it.

There seems to be no track that fits Uldum or Pandaria, with is a little sad. I hoped that, since we go back there that we might get some matching music.
Well when we are there usually its getting attacked by this sound track xD

@@slinttu1378 I didn't listen to the 2+ hours track in it's entirety, no. That's why I said "There seems to be". Both the pandaria part and the uldum part are at the end of the video, so...
I expected it to be as voidy and as terrifying like the ones from Telogrus rift and the Emerald Nightmare.
This just sounds like a generic battle music from an epic fantasy movie
