That is one fine Battlesuit. Well done 🙂
Your channel is severely underrated. Found you from doing research on Warpaints fanatic (I pre-ordered the set shortly after) and am looking forward to seeing what else you do! 🤘🏻
Welcome aboard!
Amazing stuff Rob! We too think that there will be lots of Speedpaint+Fanatic combos in the future. ;)
Thanks a lot guys! Always appreciate your support❤❤❤❤
Man you are just incredible. I absolutely love watching you paint and its helped me alot getting to that next level. Im excited seeing what you have done with army painter paints and cant wait to get my hands on some when I can.
Man that's so awesome to hear! I'm really glad you're finding the videos useful!❤❤❤❤
Awesome job, appreciated the explanations of switching back to the airbrush to help tie things together with the black and metallics
Beautiful
Wow what a straight forward and clear tutorial. Never painted Tau so only watched this due to how well made the video and how good the painting was. Deffo got yourself a new subscriber!
Very awesome recipe, I am definitely interested in the warpaints and speedpaints shown off here, well done.
Glad you liked the video❤❤❤❤
Excellent tutorial for painting red
Loving the videos! ☺️👌
I think this is the year I make the jump to airbrush, I have been thinking about it for a long time. And considering I live someplace you cannot use a rattle can year round I think it makes a lot of sense. I realize the learning curve can be a bit steep. But seeing these paint jobs you are doing is inspirational.
Just found your channel, it was great keep it up!
Looks amazing, I was toying with getting farsight but definitely going to try this recipe now
Love the paintwork, looks amazing, what texture paint and tufts did you use?
OMG totally amazing!!! This is spectacular!! Love this channel
And I love you
Kia ora e hoa!
one of the People's Champion's when it comes to knowledge and sharing that knowledge. We'll all have a lot less grey with your help!
Are some of these paints not out yet to the public? e.g. Plasma Coil Glow?
Yeah my dude! Some aren't out YET but preorders are soon I believe! Thanks so much for your support!❤❤❤
So much to learn from this vid, and excellently explained all the way. :)
Glad it was helpful!
Brilliant stuff. Videos like this are definitely making me tempted to drop a lot of cash on one of the Warpaint Fanatic sets!!!
Wow this looks amazing
You look amazing!❤❤❤
Jesus, that red pops! Makes me want to paint up a few farsight enclave models.
Haha love it! Do it my friend!
Looks cool 👍
You look cool!❤❤❤
cool
Mate he's glorious 🙌
Thanks so much my dude❤❤❤❤
Cant wait to see this video.
Thanks for the support bro!
Nice Video. I tend to paint my ghostkeel too, but i have a ivory color scheme, bit trickier than red.
Instead of the oil wash i use a panel liner from ak (enamel). Works similar but not that fast. Maybe i try it with newsh from PA
Love the channel - keep up the good work! Do you have a rule of thumb between oil paint and spirit to get a decent panel lining consistency?
Your the first to mention fanatic thru the airbrush. Glad you’re demonstrating that. What makes me wonder is if the air war paints might get a fanatic makeover like an air paint 2.0? Regardless I love my current air paint and have not gotten to use half of them yet.
Same here bro! I love the speed paints!❤❤❤
Hey mate, amazing video! Quick question, what colors would you recommend from citadel contrast line to get a similar result? My LGS doesn't have the fanatic line unfortunately.
Great work. Unless I missed it what thinner do you prefer to use for putting those paints through the airbrush ?
Hi there, love the tutorial, definitely taking it for my own Tau army. I was just wondering what varnishes you used? I tend to find it hard to get the gloss varnish back to a nice matte finish after the oil wash stage so any help is greatly appreciated. I currently use vallejo "mecha gloss varnish" and the vallejo "matt polyurethane varnish".
Very cool! It's crazzy how you can do something that fast with "simple" techniques... for me, simple is still so long hehe
Lots of practise but I promise you can get that there!❤❤❤
Beautiful. Sorry noob question but are the weapons glued or magnetised?
@Todd Miller: how satisfied are you with this video?
I just found your channel and it’s fantastic! Can you use air paints with a brush? I’m very new, and I’ve been trying to use the Triad system. But I’m worried that when it comes time to clean up, I won’t be able to get as detailed with the airbrush. Could I clean up later with a regular brush? I’m very new, so I’m still obsessed with space Marines. They feel too small for airbrush.
What is the airbrush you use?
What primer did you use?
Around the 14:30 mark, the model became shiny. Did you gloss varnish before oil washing? Great video, btw. Just got the ghostkeel combat patrol and want to paint them farsight enclave.
Yes I did mate. Thank-you!
How do you thin the warpainter fanatic paints when using them in your airbrush? are you suing thinner and/or flow improver and at what ratio?
no edge highlite!!! ahhhh
Plasma glow is hot. How do you think it'd work on a Marines plasma gun?
It would work good for marine plasma glow imho❤❤❤
Amazing miniature ! One question how many bottle of paint would you recommended for a big army like 5000 points ?
Good question. Maybe 4 of each.
@@medheadful thank you i'll try with that wish me luck first time on airbrush
If i wanna make the red pop even further by edge highlighting them, what color would you suggest for the edge highlighting ?
Any chance for a tutorial for infantry in this scheme? I guess a fair few airbrushing steps would be redundant on an infantry scale? Also, if you were to push the scheme further, what color would you use to edge highlight the red panels?
No plans currently. Harlequins and emperors spears on the desk next.
However, edge highlights.
If you remember i did a highlight of a light flesh colour. I'd use this same paint and edge highlight all the way round. Then apply your Blood Red Speed Paint over the top exactly as i did in the video. This will give you natural red edge highlights. I hope that helps!
Brilliant, thank you! @@medheadful
With an airbrush...... 😓🥱😴😴😴😴😴
