You know, it's been decades but I've never heard Raikov's voice until now. I always just head up stairs to the locker and wait, then gas him with the cig-spray when he enters so I don't have to worry about dragging him about.
There are many similarities between Venom Snake and Raiden, Venom Snake is the player while Raiden rejected the player's identity. However where does Venom Snake come from? Venom Snake is the son of Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov and the father of Raiden. Everyone who has played MGSV is the son of Major Raikov
The comedic inserts in this game are what keep me coming back honestly. How you can just ram someone off a cliff, or the weird dialogue/easter eggs you can find throughout the game. It's so fun, and very nostalgic.

Not gonna lie though I went straight to MGSV for the first time after replaying MGS1, 2, and 3 at the beginning of this year and it was kinda rough getting into it. I'm still playing it, it's just the first 3 have that classic "tactical" espionage feel, especially 3! SNAKK EATRR!!!!!

It seems like he had a sixth sense and decided "Nah screw that" 😂 and hahaha yes, thank you for mentioning that! I didn't plan it, but I saw the guard on the bottom go to investigate the guard who I dropped onto before, and it just worked out with the timing of the upstairs guard as well 🤣

when i see MGS3 footage, I get reminded of hunting for frogs. annoying was the one during the chase and you have to shoot the dug from a moving vehicle.
Ahh, you mean the Kerotan frogs? Yeah I get that 😅 there are quite a few during the chase sequence, but there is one in particular that is really hard to hit.

You forgot that you can even scare Raikov by throwing a snake in front of his way, he'll kill it and then eats it after becoming a food item, and if you call Zero after Snake lost Raikov in his sight, Zero will get upset and tells you go after him immediately, since Zero is also based of the peoples who hated Raiden back in the day
It's the same rule for all enemies - as long as they're in a locker, they won't wake up, no matter what 😊 but if you open the locker so they fall out, and then you leave them there, they will wake up eventually.
I still have my copy of Subsistence and i never tried using the book to distract Raikov. To this day MGS3 is my favorite game in the Metal Gear series.
@@IQ-Gameplay I usually just tranqed everyone before tranqing Raikov. Occasionally if I had the stealth, I'd mess with the guards but I didn't really mess with Raikov that much. Gonna have to fire up the PS2 and get back there again lmao

Metal gear solid isn't gay, theres only a few confirmed characters and idk if hes one of them but it doesn't matter, just cause some characters are gay doesn't mean the entire series is.

MGS3 truly were insulting Raiden so the haters could blow off their steam there, Kojima decided to tease them in the start of the game if they picked "I like MGS2", and if you decided to put the mask back on after that during on the Virtuous Mission and call Zero, he'll be annoyed by it and he even call you to take it off before entering the door of the abandon factory because Sokolov won't like it neither, even The Boss roast Raiden's face while she takes the mask off Snake where she called it a Fairy Disguise. The Real Raiden does gets humiliated in MGS3 Subsistence where he travel back to 1964 by trying to kill Big Boss, even in one bit Volgin thought he was Raikov where he got r*p*d Raikov will also has some lines that are related to Raiden if you try to interrogate him

You always have a chance to get away if you get spotted, unless you're playing on European Extreme lol. And yeah, some things just clearly go over Snake's head 😅
You either have to complete the game with 0 alerts, or complete the game whilst shooting all 64 Kerotan frogs in 1 playthrough. The Stealth camo will then be unlocked for all future playthroughs, but only for that difficulty on that save file 😊

There's even some funny codec calls from Zero if you don't go to your current destination, like leaving the abandon factory before rescuing Sokolov and taking too long to get to the lab, that one is pretty funny because Zero wants to know if Snake knows how to get to the lab if you're taking too much time on where you should be going, depending on where he's at, he'll say the current area he's at first and then mention the next one which he'll forgot what's next, Zero will tell him the rest but doesn't pay fully attention which he'll say "So basically I head north, right?"
